Individual tablecloth dedicated to @cochanet

Saludos, es primera vez que escribo en esta comunidad, pero no quería dejar pasar la oportunidad de participar en el Intercambio navideño de regalos hechos a mano es por eso que les comparto este mantel individual que hice dedicado a @cochanet una Hiver muy apasionada con la cual me siento muy cercana gracias a sus comentarios y publicaciones.
Greetings, it is the first time that I write in this community, but I did not want to miss the opportunity to participate in the Christmas Exchange of handmade gifts that is why I share this placemat that I made dedicated to @cochanet a very passionate Hiver with the which I feel very close to thanks to her comments and publications.
Al contrario de mi hija yo no se coser mucho, en realidad siempre coso para reparar prendas, por necesidad y es algo que hago con placer, desde mi crianza en el campo tuve la costumbre de no desechar ninguna prenda de vestir ropa o descosido si esta se podía reparar, sin embargo, hacer una nueva prenda o una manualidad no es algo que no se bien, quise intentarlo esta vez bajo la supervisión de mi hija @irenenavarroart quien en este momento se encuentra enferma y solo me ayudo con el dibujo y diciéndome como usar la maquina de coser.
Unlike my daughter, I do not sew much, in fact I always sew to repair clothes, out of necessity and it is something I do with pleasure, since my upbringing in the countryside I had the habit of not discarding any garment or unstitched clothing if it is It could be repaired, however, making a new garment or a craft is not something that I do not know well, I wanted to try it this time under the supervision of my daughter @irenenavarroart who at this moment is ill and only helped me with the drawing and telling me how to use the sewing machine.
Yo no se usar la máquina de coser y sentí temor de arruinarlo todo pero aun así quise hacerlo , los materiales los conseguí en la bolsa de retazos de tela que guarda mi hija , no conseguí un pedazo de tela completo así que lo que hice fue unir dos rectángulos de yute rojo y para formar el rectángulo del mantel individual .
I did not use the sewing machine and I was afraid of ruining everything but still I wanted to do it, I got the materials in the bag of fabric scraps that my daughter keeps, I did not get a complete piece of fabric so what I did was join two rectangles of red jute and to form the rectangle of the placemat.
Luego con unas tiras de tela verde de 5 cm de ancho hice los bordes lo primero que hice fue doblarlo y colocar alfileres, los planche y luego los fije con alfileres a los bordes cosí con la maquina pero por mi inexperiencia la costura no quedó totalmente recta.
Then with some strips of green fabric 5 cm wide, I made the edges, the first thing I did was fold it and put pins, iron them and then pin them to the edges I sewed with the machine but due to my inexperience the seam was not completely straight .
Para el muñeco de nieve lo que hice fue cortar el dibujo y tratar el contorno sobre la tela, doblar los bordes con alfileres y luego ponerlo sobre la tela y empezar a coser a mano.
For the snowman what I did was cut the drawing and treat the outline on the fabric, fold the edges with pins and then put it on the fabric and start sewing by hand.
Hice el mismo procedimiento para las demás partes del hombre de nieve, esto me pareció que era como coser parches a la ropa pero por ser muy pequeño se me hizo un poco difícil.
I did the same procedure for the other parts of the snowman, this seemed to me to be like sewing patches to clothes but because it was very small it was a bit difficult.
No me considero una trabajadora de aguja pero si una amante de la cocina y entusiasta de la navidad, por eso hace pocos días @cochanet me comentó en un post que le gustaría mucho que viviéramos más cerca para disfrutar de hacer Hallacas (plato típico de Venezuela en Navidad) en su casa, así que se me ocurrió dedicarle este mantel individual navideño de manera simbólica para la cena navideña. Invito a participar en este concurso a @drhueso @mayoly1 @jesseth
I don't consider myself a needle worker but I do consider myself a kitchen lover and Christmas enthusiast, that's why a few days ago @cochanet told me in a post that he would very much like us to live closer to enjoy making Hallacas (a typical dish of Venezuela at Christmas) at his house, so it occurred to me to dedicate this Christmas placemat in a symbolic way for the Christmas dinner. I invite @drhueso @mayoly1 @jesseth to participate in this contest
