Craving for Better Fish Balls(chicken loaf balls perhaps)
Hello, Hive friends, how are you all? I pray that you are in the best of health and in God's grace. Today I'll be sharing with you the good and better experience that I had with eating fish balls.
By the way, do you like fish balls? Do you have it in your country?
In the month of May this year, a few men were selling fish balls beside the house of my mother-in-law's sister, and almost every day, we pass by it and the kids were like "let's buy, let's buy!" but we cannot stop because it's either we had no money or in hurry, because the rain is coming our way and we can't afford the kids to get wet by the rain because they might get sick.
On June 3, my husband and I had a little spare time and we were very hungry at that time so we had no choice but to stop and buy. I only had a stick of the fish balls; there were five of it in a stick and they cost 5 pesos each stick. My husband had two. They were good and we got filled.
Few passer-bys are coming our way to buy too.
It is the kids that love fish balls, no wonder my kids wanted to eat too.
Sorry for a bad picture, my husband was moving fast that I could not take a good picture of him.
The sauce was only made with water, and catsup and they had a spicy and non-spicy sauce.
There are two crews, one does the cooking and money changing while the other outs them into sticks.
The food looked good, especially with the sauce.
Since I did not have much, and I was like looking for a better one, I searched youTube University for a tutorial and took down notes on the ingredients, and bought them. I even had a hard time buying because it happened on a sunday and most of the grocery stores are closed.
I did not even find a good fish so I replaced the fish with a chicken loaf( it was cheaper and less smelly). I was very excited about preparing the fishballs, no, this will be chicken loaf balls and my phone was borrowed by my kids so I did not have the chance to take pictures. For the pictures below, it was my oldest child who took it since I asked her to.
The oil was now very hot so I did not have the chance to roll the dough into a ball before I put in the oil so they do not look like balls, but they definitely taste better than what I had earlier this month.
I also made a fish ball sauce but my husband does not like it much, he added some vinegar and it tasted better.
We had different preferences in taste so the idea of wanting to co
ok the food that I craved for is a go-to for me.
