Secreto encuentro
Satén y seda fina el mágico envoltorio
Que escogiste deseosa para el secreto encuentro
Y agudizar al tacto el contacto de cuerpos
En amorosa cita, virginal dormitorio.
Tu casa y tu familia marcaría el territorio
De esta cita escondida celebrada en el centro
De todo lo prohibido, de tu adoctrinamiento.
Tu calmada venganza es de sexo un jolgorio.
Esta noche es testigo y cómplice a la vez
Y acompañan estrellas y luna blanquecina
que adornan tu silueta y brillan en tu tez.
La pasión se desata, la lujuria domina
Tú borras de tu rostro la faz de candidez
Y a esta entrega la cubre satén y seda fina
Secret encounter
Satin and fine silk the magical wrapping
That you chose desirously for the secret encounter
And to sharpen the touch of bodies contact
In loving date, virginal bedroom.
Your house and your family would mark the territory
Of this hidden rendezvous held in the center
Of all that is forbidden, of your indoctrination.
Your calm revenge is of sex a revelry.
This night is witness and accomplice at once
And accompanying stars and whitish moon
That adorn your silhouette and shine on your complexion.
Passion is unleashed, lust dominates
You erase from your face the candid appearance
And this surrender is covered with satin and fine silk
Hoy llego al poema número 23 de esta serie de sonetos de versos alejandrinos, según su estructura en español. Igual que en la ocasión anterior, decidí volver a grabar el poema en mi propia voz, pues siento que le da un aire distinto, a pesar de que trato en todo momento de no ser muy expresivo para dejarle liberta a la imaginación de quienes lo quieran disfrutar.
Este ha sido un recorrido muy interesante y satisfactorio para mí, pues siento que cultivar la poesía rimada y más aún en una estructura tan compleja como esta, es la que nos da el verdadero dominio del lenguaje poético y cada día siento que voy dano pasos adelante. Por esta razón celebro haberme "atrevido" a uno osadía semejante y con todo el respeto y admiración a los grandes poetas que han cultivado este género.
Today I come to poem number 23 of this series of sonnets of alexandrine verses, according to its structure in Spanish. As on the previous occasion, I decided to record the poem again in my own voice, because I feel that it gives it a different air, although I try at all times not to be very expressive to leave freedom to the imagination of those who want to enjoy it.
This has been a very interesting and satisfying journey for me, because I feel that cultivating rhymed poetry and even more so in a structure as complex as this, is what gives us the true mastery of poetic language and every day I feel that I am taking steps forward. For this reason I celebrate having "dared" such a challenge and with all the respect and admiration to the great poets who have cultivated this genre.
