2023 has arrived and today, apart from Hive Power Up Day, is also the day I prepare lentils and make an openhouse at my house, which is already famous as "la lentejada" (the lentil party). Although the last two years we made it intimate, because of the pandemic, this year we have resumed this activity for all friends. Traditionally I have made the invitation public with a poem (usually humorous) and this year is no exception.

So I begin by sharing it with you.

A breathalyzer test

have suffered in the pandemic.
The bohemia is closed,
the enjoyments, the pachangas
no music, no charangas,
nor anything to get together
and much less to consider

But we rebel,
we have finished that rod
of walking around with a mask
as we did these years.
The aguinaldos are back
and the twenty-second is over.
As there is no flu, no cough
we resume the longed-for
and requested lentils
to say goodbye this year.

I remind you of the routine,
just in case it has been forgotten,
because time has already passed
and we have no phytin,
Stop by the canteen
before coming here,
and even if it's guarana
bring you a liter of liquor.
Or if not, something for the teeth,
that is to say, to chew...

I'll provide a house and lentils

to welcome the 23rd
with dedication and heart.

One of the great satisfactions I had today was to discover that the growth of my HP, in relation to January 1, 2022, was 48.41%, that is to say, that I almost increased my Hive Power by half, with the curation rewards and with the Power Ups that I do on a permanent basis.
