Tom the Hairy Cat with a Belly that demands intensely for each meal
Every day I lose count, if for every time I work in the kitchen
you make a majestic Act of Presence.
You're hard to ignore when I don't look at you, you walk so subtly that I suddenly
I feel you so close. So persistent that you leave your claw mark on my body.
Salt is your worst enemy and you never admit it because you prefer to steal my food but you have no other choice
you have no choice but to feed on catnip.
At night you meow "I'm going to Cag" telling me that I have to hurry up and clean your little box
and clean your little box, then comes your little miadita.

Tom Gato Peludo con Barriga que demanda intensamente por cada comida
Cada día pierdo la cuenta, si por cada vez que trabajo en la cocina
tu haces majestuoso Acto de presencia.
Eres díficil de ignorar cuando no te miro, caminas tan sutilmente que de pronto
te siento tan cerca. Tan persistente que dejas tu marca de garra en mi cuerpo.
La Sal es tu peor enemigo y nunca lo admites porque prefieres robar mi comida más no
te queda de otra y alimentarte con gatarina.
Por las noches maullas entonando “voy a Cag” indicandome que tengo que apresurarme
y limpiar tu cajita, acto seguido viene tu miadita.
Obvio ya se lo que tengo que hacer, para que empieces a brincar y correr por toda la casa luego de sentir alivio intestinal. Quizas no es por esto, más bien es porque soy tu humilde esclava.
y ahora, es cuando tienes más energía, mientras ya mi batería tiene un nivel más bajo, sigues con maullido y hasta la puerta me la quieres tumbar.
