Since I didn't work, my daily life is around the kitchen. I think about how to prepare food for my family every day. It's really troublesome. Being a housewife is more tired than going to work.
If I work, my children will be left alone. For the sake of my children, I can only return to my family and be a housewife.

Housewives are undervalued so much. I point to my mother as example. She is an absolute hero and I will forever be indebted to her for being the pillar of our family, doing all the tough chores nobody else wants to do, and never complaining about it.
It's strange when you think about attitudes towards children and being a housewife abroad. While it is good that women have better opportunities to advance their careers and become financially independent, that has often resulted in the neglect of being a good mother. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about that yet.

agree with elmerlin, nobody notices how much effort the housewife put on her daily work, people only notices when she doesn't get her "job" done well.
