You can currently deposit $HBD into the saving account section of your wallet and receive 12% APR which is paid monthly. This is a better interest rate than other companies like Celsius & Nexo are paying for their stable coins.

$HEX claims that they pay 40% APY on average to their depositors. However $HEX is not a stable Coin. And there's a slew of other options to Stake and Farm with your stable coins on various DEFI Protocols and get a better rate of 12%.

Please comment below and answer these questions below and be sure to add your opinions and thoughts as to the pro's and cons of having a High Interest CD for $HBD.

First I have learnt that from the post of @taskmaster4450le. Thus, we can deposit HBD in the blockchain like a fiat at the bank.

I think the interest rates on HBD are high enough and no, I'm not much in support of Higher deposits having higher interest rates unless they've held it for longer, then yeah, a longer time frame should be awarded higher interest rates.

Completely IMO though. I think it would encourage saving for longer periods.

I hope I got the meaning of Certificate of Deposit right though.

yes, you have the right idea of Certificate of Deposit in terms of the longer deposit time. Thanks for taking the time to respond!

I would like to be able to invest in a CD. Maybe ladder stake every 6 months. I would like to see what the code looks like and be able to see the interest payouts.

this would be a great strategy, you could do a 6 month CD, Then a 1 YEAR and 2 Year etc. Then every 6 months maybe either restake or take a little proceeds along the way but always having access to your funds approx every 6 months. I really like the idea of being able to stagger a CD.
