Sorry for the grim title but I really needed to vent my thoughts...
I know I haven't posted in a while, it's been a complicated while, though not as much as for others that's for sure... we only need to tune to our tvs right now.

I made this song some time ago. I wrote it originally about Climate Crisis and also for ANY cause that is worth fighting for. Everybody is witnessing what is happening these days with disbelief and heartbreak. And this is a poem and a song I wrote about been tangled in madness and the need to unravel and find a solution for things before it's too late. Needless to say I thought I wanted to share the words as a poem today because it's returned to my lips as I witness heartbroken how the world is in turmoil. I remember the fears of nuclear war when I grew up (yes I'm that old to remember the end of the Cold War and when the Berlin Wall came down, also the tales of war from our grandparents) and just felt I wanted to share it as its verses have come to my lips these days. War is always cruel and dehumanizing, that's for sure.

Also I usually simmer my posts so slowly and been a bit away... the reason is that I've needed to rest due to health... and I'm always trying to write long detailed posts, but allow me to be candid and it's a thought I wanted to share the words of the song, not only because of war but also the declarations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) stating Last Monday also the UN released a bleak report on Monday, showing an accelerating crisis that requires unprecedented action to protect natural habitats and reinforce infrastructure when we reach a potentially irreversible tipping point.
"Delay is Death" -it was stated.

So even trying not to sound a bit dismal... this decade has been so dystopian, now war....a disaster movie blockbuster after another...
So I felt just to share this song just for the sake of the lyrics...

It's not by any means one of my most popular but I resonate strongly with every word.

A wish for peace...

Humans are at war with their home planet, at war with each other, at war with life...
We need to wake up before the nightmare engulfs us whole into oblivion
There is no undo... there is no reset...

I had started to make a music video for this song and somehow I had stopped and left it unfinished but I want to get it done... Still It felt

And even emotionally exhausted as I am, I still hope for those winds of change, for that waking call... for a better future in which we don't follow the path of self destruction. Because our planet and the life it inhabits (maybe undeservedly so us too) are worth at least the "wondering"
