Farewell Autumn: "The Singing Grove" Original Music and Video. Come walk with me into the Enchanted Forest of Urbasa (Spain)
The Singing Grove
This is my new video "The Singing Grove"
The Forest is Singing. The Light filters through the autumn leaves and bathe you with the most peaceful feeling.
Take a deep breath, feel its soothing magic healing you, its spell running through your blood. You are part of it all. YOU are magic!
I hope you find this composition relaxing. This is my farewell to the season and now on I'll move on into "Yule" and Winter vibes. But It's still technically Autumn until the Winter's Solstice. It's my favourite time of the year and I will certainly miss that magic golden light, but I hope I have captured it in this seasonal special.
Song is available on my bandcamp and free for all my patrons should you want to support. All links to my socials are at the end of the post

Music and Lyrics by Priscilla Hernandez. I made this composition many years ago, but this recording is a 2021 version.
I sing lead and backing vocals, and play guitar, low whistle, tin whistle, harp, dulcimer, kantele among other folk instruments to weave this slow, relaxing and almost entirely instrumental theme with Celtic Vibes.
Filming location: Urbasa-Andía National Park and The Enchanted Forest of Urbasa
The National park of Urbasa and Andía is located in North Western Navarre, North of Spain. Its forests are well known because of their mossy labyrinths, stones, caves and extensive beechwoods, and during the fall the landscape is indeed an spectacle. The park is divided in four parts, Urbasa Mountain Range, Andía Mountain Range, Monte de Limitaciones and the Source of the Urederra River covering 21.5 Hectares with lush and raw Nature, with groves and forests surrounded by green valleys where cattle, horses and seep graze the green grass.
The predominant tree in the forest are Beech trees, along maples, linden, ash and holy
The place is inhabited with some protected species like the Alpine newt (Triturus alpestris) or the
Bearded vulture (Gypaetus barbatus) and is key to the recovery of these protected species. The whole park is teeming with animals and It wouldn't be the first time I stumble upon a herd of wild boar within the misty forests.
Legend say that these forests were once inhabited by Giants and the big boulders that remain scattered in the most odd shapes are scattered in the beechwoods. The truth is that geologically is made of "Karst" and the limestone has dissolved with water, so it's full of caves, sinkholes and passages that make the woods look like a fantasy landscape. There are scarce streams and rivers because most water seeps underground.
The particular area where "The singing grove" was filmed is the "Enchanted beechwood" and that's its truly its name "Hayedo Encantado" in Spanish. So I hope you can appreciate its beauty and how it stands up to the fame of its name. The mossy covered stones have the most whimsical shapes. The landmarks are not marked, so it requires a little bit of orientation to reach the spot (thanks to @hedac) and I have none ;-).
As seasons flow: Here some other videos filmed in that forest in different times of the year
The enchanted Beechwood is one of my favourite spots to film. That's why I have filmed several of my videos there. The videos somehow follow the "seasons" because I'm working on a project called As seasons Flow. It's incredible to see how it changes radically through the wheel of the year
Here some other videos filmed in other seasons
Nuku Nuku Nurmilintu (Late Autumn-Early Winter)
Grow (Spring-Summer)
In the Bleak MidWinter (Winter)
And of course the new one with Autumn vibes that you will find at the beginning of the post

Find fufunchis (3 rats and a mouse hidden in the video)
If you follow me here you know I always hide "fufunchis" the ratties inside the videos. They're like easter eggs to be found. In fact one is in one of the moving gifts. :) 3 more to spot!

Until next! And thanks for your support!
This is truly amazing! Can I just say that the travelling shots from @hedac are out of this world? I am really jealous!
The first song also, was seamless! The intro with the flute, the rest, was just purely enchanting.
I sometimes regret not to shoot music videos for the songs of my second album, but seeing you recording a new video of previous songs, is really inspiring.
thank you, I shared the older videos because they are close by but different times of the year. I also want to make videos from the songs of my second album, though I usually re-make them. Anyway "The Singing Grove" was only drafted years ago but the recording is all new and its first release (just today))
hehe thanks the final videos don't include the times I fall to the muddy ground LOL
Making videos for the music adds another dimension to it, but it should not really be obligatory. Music itself is a big art on its own. I see Priscilla enjoying editing the videos too, but I also know that it takes a lot of time that could be used to do more music. At the end of the day, do whatever you enjoy more doing :)
Hahaha I am so sorry I laughed so loud to the thought of you falling in the mud, I am sure it wasn't funny at the time though.
You're right about doing what you enjoy the most, I second that!
Did you forget to mention about the 4 hidden Fufunchis in the video? :P
one of them is in one gif in the post :)
Oh my god, It is true. How could I forget to mention? Thanks for letting me notice I'll edit that up
Wooooow!! What a magical music!!! it's really beautiful all the production of this video, this forest is incredible! ❤️ You´re Incredible! 😍😍
Muchas gracias 🙂 por el cumplido. Many thanks for stopping by. I truly love fantasy, so it is an important part of my work, but besides the music I draw as well. Followed back. Greetings from Spain 🐀❤️
I was too tired to find fufunchis today x_x (how is that pronounced by the way).
Beautiful track, and that setting really is magical.
Also I'm kind of half-expecting you to be writing movie soundtracks soon if you're not already XP
Thank you. I miss autumn already.
Yes fufunchis are a bit hard to find but there are four to be found.
Thanks always
I think I found 2 of the 3 this time! Love the rust tones of your dress and the leaves.
I Rescued a mouse this summerso this one es 3 fufunchis 🐀🐀🐀 and a mouse, but they are not easy.Well done!
Beautiful surroundings. Have to visit the area one day. I’m in South Spain. Not that seasonal here so it looks so different.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Saludos desde el Norte. Greetings from the North.
Yes it's very mossy here, the forests are so lush (though I'm originally from La Palma) I found my home in the lovely forests of the North of Spain. I really love Nature up here, and thanks for watching
Muchísimas Gracias.
Yes I see. You choose a very beautiful area to call home. I love nature too, my go to place to connect with the earth. I only live in Spain 5 years. Actually my 5th country I moved to. I’m Dutch but born in France. Hope to find my spot someday too and call it home.
Saludos!
Well, I still do not have a home to live in (a roof is not a home) but in the woods I find a home to wander. I live relatively close and even walking I can reach an abandoned village and a pond. I do not know yet where I will settle but I love nature here, I am relatively close to France border
Exactly… A roof is not a home. It’s more like an “area” you feel good in, a feeling even. This can be something else for anybody.
Sounds lovely where you live, especially as it is in walking distance of nature.
I know already that within half a year I will be moving again. This will be to an area with close access to mountains, rivers and forests. Can’t wait. It’s also exciting to move again to a new area. Maybe even a new country. Discovering and exploring I like the most.
It almost sounds like I am the happiest then… wandering. ☺️
As Tolkien once said "not all who wanders are lost” I too dream of a tiny self sufficient place in the woods, maybe a little orchard, some animal companions and a sky to stargaze. Only luxury would be to have a stable connection to share my work,a little studio to create and s bathtub lol 🤣 cos I miss long relaxing bathes. One day, may all your dreams come true.
Yes… like that. And proper heating, like a big fireplace… it’s getting cold here down south. But the houses don’t have any heating. (Not the ones I lived in so far…)
One day… and yours 😊
Yes, cheers to that, our future homes

I really liked it. Thank you.
Glad you did
