Hola comunidad de liketu desde principios del siglo XX se enclava allí la mansión Camagüey, más conocida como La Guarida, uno de los templos culinarios de la ciudad. Aunque por fuera, como ocurre con tanta frecuencia ante estos palacetes desvencijados de Centro Habana, nadie sospecharía que estamos en el lugar mágico, lleno de vida.
Locación donde se filmó en el año 1993 la película Fresa y Chocolate del director Tomás Gutiérrez Alea.
