My Saturday Diary | 5 minutes freewrite with prompt 'Manicure'
My best day of the week is usually Saturdays. Although I have a lineup of activities but I get to give myself alot of rest.
I wake up as I please usually 9am pending on how my Friday night went. My laundry is the first thing I give attention to, thereafter it's cleaning my house, since it ain't that huge a place, cleaning doesn't take much of time. Most times I co-handle this with fixing breakfast and cooking meals I would use for the new week. I do my shopping for groceries on Friday on my way from work so I could fix my meals on time. I make atleast 2 different types of soups and tomato sauce (stew). This serves me throughout the week and trust me it's really helpful unless times when power holding decides to frustrate its customers.
After this, I have a good meal, shower and return back to bed. Resting time is what makes me love Saturdays even more, away from work emails, staring at screens and loads of meeting. Most importantly Saturdays are for weddings. On such occasions of having I event I wake up really early to cover my agenda for the day. Thereafter I go for a face eat (makeup), manicure and ofcourse pedicure especially a bella naija wedding, I mean I have to look my best and I don't disappoint with that, but my account feels the weight.
Some other Saturdays I may decide to hang out with my family or my friends. I look forward to every Saturday and I ensure to utilize it to the optimal.
