Hace poco que una buena amiga me comento de esta comunidad y su dinámica por eso desde que me uní a ella he estado ansiosa esperando este concurso, hace mucho tiempo que no hacia edición digital para hacer este tipo collage, específicamente desde mis días en la universidad por eso estoy muy emocionada, la imagen base para este concurso consiste en un paisaje con pinos alrededor y ganado pastando proporcionada por @shaka

Hello! recently a good friend of mine told me about this community and its dynamics so since I joined it I've been looking forward to this contest, it's been a long time since I did digital editing to make this kind of collage, specifically since my college days so I'm very excited, the base image for this contest consists of a landscape with pine trees around and cattle grazing provided by @shaka

Para comenzar este collage lo primero que hice fue modificar un poco el matiz y los niveles para hacerlo un poco más oscuro y con tonalidad azul.

To start this collage the first thing I did was to modify a little the hue and levels to make it a little darker and with blue tonality.

Al ser un concurso libre admito que estuve un rato solo mirando las imágenes de la galería y en primer momento estuve cautivada por las fotos de gatitos, hasta que me tome con una foto de una tortuga esculpida en arena y me gustó mucho y decidí copiarla en mi collage, en este momento recordé las fotos de tortugas que viven en pantanos y a las que les suele crecer vegetación en su cascaron así que me dispuse a hacer esto realidad, para ello toma también como referencia algunas fotos de flores y follaje de la galería y una fotografía de una flor de árnica de mi propiedad.

Being a free contest I admit that I was a while just looking at the images in the gallery and at first I was captivated by the photos of kittens, until I came across a photo of a turtle sculpted in sand and I liked it very much and decided to copy it in my collage, at this moment I remembered the photos of turtles that live in swamps and that usually grow vegetation in their shells so I decided to make this a reality, for this I also took as reference some photos of flowers and foliage from the gallery and a photo of an arnica flower of my property.

Una vez recorte el fondo de cada una de las imágenes, procedí a colocarlas de manera armoniosas sobre el cascaron de la tortuga, luego toma la imagen del follaje y la coloque sobre todo el cascaron y aplique el filtro de superponer para unificar ambos, también dibuje algunas líneas de color verde que cuelgan del cascaron a modo de musgo y raíces.

Once I cut out the background of each of the images, I proceeded to place them harmoniously over the turtle shell, then I took the foliage image and placed it over the entire shell and applied the overlay filter to unify bothI also drew some green lines hanging from the shell as moss and roots.

Al igual que esta primera tortuga diseñé otras cuatro más, pero con menos detalle cada una y las fui colocando una a una en la imagen modificando el tamaño y variando los niveles para que estos parecieran que se ubican cada vez más lejos de la vista.

Like this first turtle, I designed four more, but with less detail each one, and I placed them one by one in the image, modifying the size and varying the levels so that they seemed to be placed further and further away from the view.

Por ultimo añadí algunas luces en las flores y por debajo del cascaron de las tortugas, pinté también una luna creciente en el cielo, muchas estrellas y luces alrededor del cielo y a través de la caravana de tortugas.

Finally I added some lights on the flowers and below the turtle shell, I also painted a crescent moon in the sky, lots of stars and lights around the sky and across the turtle caravan.

Tomando en cuenta la vista que mostraba el paisaje en cuestión se me ocurrió recrear una migración de tortugas a través de los cielos, obviamente estas siempre han sido seres mágicos y justo en este momento se ha abierto un portal a su legítimo hogar, donde viven acompañados de hadas y demás criaturas mágicas voladoras.

Taking into account the view that showed the landscape in question I thought of recreating a migration of turtles through the skies, obviously these have always been magical beings and just at this time has opened a portal to their rightful home, where they live accompanied by fairies and other magical flying creatures.
