¡Saludos! el día de hoy les quiero mostrar una de las acuarelas de las cuales me siento más orgullosa y se trata de una realizada como proceso de mi trabajo de grado, el cual consistía en hacer un registro dibujístico de edificaciones patrimoniales ubicadas en el centro histórico de la cuidad de Barquisimeto en el estado Lara, la que les mostrare a continuación fue una de las primeras pruebas de color para generar el registro final de la Iglesia Inmaculada Concepción muestra de la historia del pueblo larense, la cual sigue en pie sin importar los embates naturales, el tiempo y el olvido.

Greetings! Today I want to show you one of the watercolors of which I am most proud and it is one made as a process of my degree work, which was to make a drawing record of heritage buildings located in the historic center of the city of Barquisimeto in Lara state, which I will show below was one of the first color tests to generate the final record of the Immaculate Conception Church shows the history of the people of Lara, which is still standing regardless of the natural onslaught, time and oblivion.

La fecha de su construcción data del año 1736 el templo más antiguo de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, el cual a pesar de haber sucumbido ante dos terremotos en 1736 y 1812, fue reconstruido, en esta segunda oportunidad por iniciativa de José Macario Yépez párroco de la cuidad con la contribución del gentilicio Larense, reconstruyeron la edificación que se conserva en la actualidad, fue registrada como Patrimonio Nacional durante el censo realizado entre los años 2004 – 2007 por el Instituto de patrimonio Cultural IPC.

The date of its construction dates back to 1736, the oldest temple in the city of Barquisimeto, which despite having succumbed to two earthquakes in 1736 and 1812, was rebuilt, in this second opportunity on the initiative of José Macario Yépez pastor of the city with the contribution of the people of Larense, rebuilt the building that is preserved today, was registered as National Heritage during the census conducted between 2004 - 2007 by the Institute of Cultural Heritage IPC.

El registro que les muestro fue realizado durante el año 2019, año en el que ya presentaba fallas estructurales graves de las cuales actualmente no tengo ninguna información, este trabajo me hizo tomar conciencia del enorme daño que presentan muchas por no decir todas las edificaciones de índole patrimonial, tesoros de la cultura de los larenses, que a pesar de su importancia históricas son relegadas y echadas al olvido mientras el tiempo y las condiciones siguen haciendo mella en su estructura, justo hace unos días pasaba frente a esta iglesia y como ya es costumbre tenía una capa de pintura a medias.

The record that I show you was made during the year 2019, a year in which it already had serious structural failures of which I currently have no information, this work made me aware of the enormous damage that many if not all the buildings of heritage nature, treasures of the culture of the larenses, that in spite of their historical importance are relegated and forgotten as time and conditions continue to take their toll on their structure, just a few days ago I passed in front of this church and as usual it had a half coat of paint.

La iniciativa de este registro nació a partir de la poca o nula información de registro con las que cuentan dichas edificaciones, desde mi rol como licenciada en artes plásticas decidí realizar este registro desde mi área de conocimiento el dibujo y la acuarela para renovar dicho registro, este cuenta con una ficha en la cual he compilado toda la información de la edificación como el estado en el que se encontraba dicha edificación al momento del registro dibujístico.

The initiative of this registry was born from the little or no registration information that these buildings have, from my role as a graduate in fine arts I decided to make this record from my area of knowledge drawing and watercolor to renew the record, this has a tab in which I have compiled all the information of the building as the state in which the building was at the time of the drawing record.
