Hi friends! Today I want to share with you photos that clearly show the difference between true honey mushrooms (Armillaria mellea) and their poisonous "twins" (Hypholoma fasciculare). Although the latter is difficult to call "twins", because they have many differences and belong to different families. Well, first of all, the caps and legs of these mushrooms are different colors. In honey mushrooms, they are dark brown (in this case), light brown or yellow-brown. False honey mushrooms are light yellow with a greenish tinge. Sometimes the color of honey mushrooms is too pale, so they are difficult to distinguish. Then you need to look closely at the center of the caps, they are covered with a kind of down, and the caps of false honey mushrooms are smooth. There is a third sign, but my photos do not show it to you now, because when I made them, I did not intend to make a comparative analysis of these two species of mushrooms 😀. True honey mushrooms has a white ring under the cap, which in young specimens completely hides the gills.	Привіт, друзі! Сьогодні хочу поділитися з вами фото, які наочно демонструють різницю між справжніми опеньками (Armillaria mellea) та їхніми отруйними "двійниками" (Hypholoma fasciculare). Хоча останніх важко назвати "двійниками", бо вони мають багато відмінностей і належать до різних родин. Ну, по перше, шапинки та ніжки цих грибів різних кольорів. В опеньків вони темно-коричневі (в даному випадку), світло-коричневі або жовто-коричневі. Несправжні опеньки ж світло-жовті із зеленкуватим відтінком. Іноді колір опеньок буває надто блідий, то ж їх важко відрізнити. Тоді треба придивитися до центру шапинок, вони вкриті своєрідним пушком, а шапинки несправжніх опеньок гладенькі. Є ще третя ознака, але мої фото зараз вам її не демонструють, бо коли я робив їх, то не мав на меті робити порівняльний аналіз цих двох видів грибів 😀. Справжні опеньки мають під шапинкою біле кільце, яке в молодих екземплярів повністю приховує пластинки.
