For my February 2022 vacation destination, I chose San Carlos de Bariloche, the largest city in Patagonia Argentina. In my first excursion I went to visit the waterfall of the elves and we made a 6 kilometers trekking around the Nahuel Huapi Lake to reach the waterfall.
On the way I observed a large number of bushes very similar to rose bushes growing wild and full of fruits everywhere ... later I confirmed my suspicions and certified it was the rosehip.
Since I lived in my beloved country Venezuela I knew and used this wonderful oil and enjoyed its unique benefits. In the 23 kilos suitcase that I prepared for my trip, I brought with me my little bottle of rosehip oil, but I never thought that I would be so close to these bushes loaded with reddish orange fruits.
The rosehip (Rosa Affinis Rubiginosa) is a shrubby plant that was introduced in Bariloche by pioneers from Central Europe in the 20's and 30's of the last century and today is found throughout the Andean region of the argentine Patagonia and southern Chile. The extra virgin oil that is manufactured and bottled in San Carlos de Bariloche, requires forty kilos of the small seeds of the fruit, of intense reddish color to give a liter of first cold pressed oil.
Para destino turístico de mis vacaciones febrero 2022, escogí a San Carlos de Bariloche, la ciudad más grande de la Patagonia Argentina. En mí primera excursión fui a conocer la cascada de los duendes y realizamos un trekking de 6 kilómetros rodeando el lago Nahuel Huapi para llegar a la cascada.
En el recorrido observé gran cantidad de arbustos muy parecidos a rosales que crecían llenos de frutos de forma salvaje por doquier … más tarde confirme mis sospechas y certifique que se trataba de la rosa de mosqueta.
Desde que vivía en mi país amado Venezuela conocía y usaba este maravilloso aceite y disfrutaba de sus bondades que son únicas. En la maleta de 23 kilos que prepare para mi viaje, traje conmigo mi frasquito de aceite de rosa mosqueta, pero nunca pensé que estaría tan cerca de estos arbustos cargados de frutos de color naranja rojizo.
La rosa mosqueta (Rosa Affinis Rubiginosa) es una planta arbustiva que fue introducida en Bariloche por pioneros de Europa Central, en las décadas del 20 y 30 del siglo pasado y hoy en día se encuentra en toda la región andina de la Patagonia argentina y el sur de chile. El aceite extra virgen que se fabrica y envasa en San Carlos de Bariloche, se requieren cuarenta kilos de las pequeñas semillas del fruto, de intenso color rojizo para dar un litro de aceite de primera prensada en frío.
It has a high content of vitamin A that intervenes in the formation of collagen fibers of the connective tissue of the hypodermis, vitamins E, C, B1 and B2 of high regenerative and healing properties.
It also contains up to 80% of polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic, oleic and arachidonic) which promote the regeneration of the cell membrane and skin tissues, which helps to prevent and attenuate premature aging of the skin and to conceal the expression lines that form around the eyes commonly known as crow's feet.
Finally, its use is recommended for dermatological treatments, burns, stretch marks, psoriasis and post-operative scars or hypertrophic and retractable scars (known as keloids).
Posee un alto contenido de vitamina A que interviene en la formación de las fibras de colágeno del tejido conjuntivo de la hipodermis, vitaminas E, C, B1 y B2 de altas propiedades regenerativa y cicatrizantes.
Contiene además hasta un 80% de ácidos grasos polinsaturados (linoleico, oleico y araquidónico) el cual promueve la regeneración de la membrana celular y le los tejidos cutáneos, lo cual ayuda a prevenir y atenuar el envejecimiento prematuro de la piel y a disimular las líneas de expresión que se forman alrededor de los ojos conocidas comúnmente como patas de gallo.
En fin, se aconseja su uso en tratamientos dermatológicos, quemaduras, estrías, psoriasis y cicatrices post operatorias o hipertrófica y retráctiles (lo que se conoce como queloide)
⭐ Mode of use:
- Use in the evening on clean skin before bedtime.
- The oil is applied by drops on the affected area or eye contour, corners of the mouth, chin lines and skin blemishes.
- Massage gently until absorbed.
- After 4/8 weeks of continuous use, noticeable changes will be observed, the skin will look softer, smoother and healthier.

- Usar por la noche con la piel limpia antes de acostarse.
- El aceite se aplica por gotas sobre la zona afectada o el contorno de ojos, las comisuras labiales, las líneas de mentón y las manchas de la piel
- Se masajea suavemente hasta su absorción.
- Luego de 4/8 semanas de uso continuo se observarán cambios notorios, la piel se verá más suave, tersa y saludable
