A 2021 Challenge ~ Wrap Up & Getting to Know One Another

Life, being as unpredictable as it is, leads us into paths we've never imagined we would ever delve into.
Some of those paths can be utterly ugly, some of them are in-between, and a few are ones we wouldn't want them any other way!
Strange as it may seem, I've never been a blogger or ever thought about becomming one. Never been a talker, or good at expressing myself or any other thing.
Yet, somehow, I ended up here. A place that is expanding my experiences, my imagination, and as a whole, my self.
Hive for me has become a new chapter in this book we call life, days will tell what will be written, but I'm sure it will be an exciting one, regardless. 😀
This leads us to what I'm going to talk about in this challenge that I've been tagged to partake in by kaelci. A person that I'm glad to have met and interacted with since the begining of my brief arrival on Hive.
The challenge is:
Answer these questions:
- What have you done in November?
- What are your plans for December and the new year?
- How's 2021 treated you so far?
ANDI also challenge you to make up TWO new questions!
Tag three (or more) of your friends on hive, and let us get to know each other a little bit better!
You can read kaelci's post here!!
What have you done in November?
Hmm, let's see... First of all I have to warn you that I'm extremely boring and depressing!
Life realities haven't helped in that regard at all.
If it was about 15-20 years ago that we're talking about, this might've been a very different story.
Struggling with un-ignorable realities, no electricity for prolonged amounts of time, to name a few, no life and unstability in general being predominant in all aspects of life as a post-war byproduct (Not really over yet).
I've decided to face it right on!
And what a better way to do that than laying in bed full time?
Nothing of course! 😁
With my trusty mobile phone in hand, the world is between my hands, ready to be explored and conquered!! Muahahaha
Seriously though, I would've done other productive things like playing some games on PC 😒, or carry on my web design / development, and programming learning. But nope!
Having to resort to some offline ventures on my breaks from the bed. I did some gold recovery and refining during November, as I have been doing for a year or so just as a hobby. Which I talked about a little in an earlier post.

A cool / not-so-cool something that has happened during November is that we saved two young kittens from the streets, whom had lost their mommy. One of them had a pretty bad tail injury, the other was just too young and weak.
Sadly, I couldn't keep them with me, so they stayed over for the night, and went to the vet the next morning, then to their new home.
Other than that and the usual necessary daily chores, that month has been special this year because I finally joined Hive! got hooked, and have filled the remainder of November fiddling with it. 😵
What are your plans for December and the new year?
Well, well..
One thing I learned, is that planning is futile. But having to do it nonetheless, I'm working on my world domination white paper! It still is pretty white if you know what I mean, and probably will still be for 2022, 2023, or the years to come.
Procrastination, nothing more, nothing less! 🙃
On my spare time though, which makes up 95% of the total, I will continue lurking around on Hive for sure, and crawling the webs in general.
Real-life-wise however, I might visit family on new year's eve, or maybe have it the other way around, or even most likely nothing at all. 🤷♂️
Covid had and has practically zero effect on life over here, lockdown got enforced only for like a month when the outbreak started, but things went back to normal rather quickly since. (if you can call what we have here "normal").
So yeah, that issue at least, wouldn't be standing in my way if I decide to do something.
Another plan that has been and always should be present in everyone's life is HOPE!
So yeah, that will be there for the next year too!
How's 2021 treated you so far?
More of the same really. Can't say 2021 had been any better or worse than the year before it, or the year before that, or the ~7 years prior to that. 🤔
It had its ups and downs, financially tightening and what not, more and more power outages and inflation, got sick a bit, normal flu sick nothing special, and needless to say the symptoms of getting less young physically had increased.
However, I registered on Hive, which was a plus for this year.
......
Yeah... Can't recall any more ups from the top of my head right now, so that's it. 😋
So yup, there it is. I answered the main questions for the challenge and now I get to torture people with my added questions!! 😈
On top of the above mentioned questions, answer those:1- What was your biggest mistake this year if any?
2- (Optional for confidentiality) Do you have any world domination plans too?
Lol, sorry. Couldn't think of better questions.
I don't know many people yet.. But I will tag a few that I met on Hive, and been like a family. you are free to join the challenge if you want to, or refrain if you don't feel like it.
No pressure!!! 😑

And always remember to stay up, no matter how hard life might try to push you down!
Bye bye for now! 🙋♂️

Thanks Yaz, gonna miss that one for sure... since i'm already having difficulties to write one post a month. 😁 BTW, why would you become less young. Time is just an illusion and beware of being what you think you are. 😎
It's just the pains in the neck, back, and knees that makes me fall a prey to that illusion. Though painkiller makes said illusion disappear, I had to describe it somehow. 😛
I didn't know you met your quota for this month, so all cool..😂
Thanks for stopping by dude. 🤙
Awww poor kitties! At least you found them and were able to take them to the vet and then onwards to a new home. 🙂
I feel that! Almost every day I'm moaning about getting old and being broken. My back! My legs! My neck!! Aches and pains! Getting old is not for the faint-hearted.
It sounds like Hive will be a wonderful place for you! 😁 May you always have ~hope~ ✨
(Optional for confidentiality) Do you have any world domination plans too?
Shhhhh.. it's a secret!!!
Thanks for joining in with the challenge! 😄
I personally find it interesting to learn about other people in other places. And get a rude awakening to know that if we have a power outage here, it's merely a nuisance for maybe an hour or so, but for you, and for many others, it takes a far larger toll and is part of a far greater issue. 😬🙁
Not for the faint-hearted at all, I'm building friendships with painkillers. Lol
It was my pleasure to join in with your challenge, thank YOU for tagging me! 😊
Every place in the world has it's own issues, troubles, and merits. Some places just get fewer of the latter 😋 our job is to make the best we can out of wherever we are.
At least over here the power problems and most of the other issues were a direct result of the war, and will be overcome ermm.. Soon. 🙄 😁
Some other places in the world have it worse without any wars.
But yeah, told you I'd win our "boring" contest. 🤴

Glad it gives an idea to blog about, thought it might give others some motivation and something to blog about too, since they've been little lazy with blogging.
