In this post I share about the activity of planting peanuts in the fields. Usually only rice is planted in the fields, but in this growing season the farmers only plant peanuts because the reservoir is being repaired so that the water supply to the rice fields is not normal. So there is an activity for farmers to take the initiative to plant peanuts because peanut plants do not need too much water.
Planting peanuts in the fields, the first thing to prepare is a bed, in contrast to planting peanuts in a garden that does not require beds. After the bed is ready, the peanut seeds can be planted. This activity of planting peanut seeds usually involves many people so that the planting process is quickly completed, usually the activity of planting peanut seeds is done mutual cooperation or mutual assistance between one farmer and another farmer.
Planting peanuts is done manually using a wooden stick or in Acehnese it is called tukai to make a hole in the ground, then the peanut seeds are inserted into the hole.
