Hello hive'r
This Japanese heritage fort is located on the Mantak Tari beach, Simpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency, Aceh. Similar to other Japanese heritage fortifications, this fort is made of cast concrete with a rough structure with a thickness of about 50 to 100 cm.
This fort has a lookout hole as a place to put cannons. there are three big holes and two small holes and it has a door. This fort was used as a shelter for Japanese soldiers from enemy attacks.
Previously, along the Mantak Tari beach, there were many forts from Japan. But now many forts have been submerged in sea water and only a few remain. Although not maintained, these forts still stand firmly on the beach of Mantak Tari.
That's my little post about visiting the Japanese heritage fort, I hope you like it.
