This would prove difficult for her, as she would not only have to discover why she had traveled back so many years, but also deal with this tyrant who would cross her path.
It is not easy for Yeon because she does not understand what is happening, added to the fact that His Majesty decides to take her with him after discovering her cooking skills. However, it is easy for Yeon because, even though she is in another era, cooking with good ingredients is still possible. She just has to adapt and add a special touch, so her stay in that era will not be so bad, or at least while she discovers how she got there, trying in the same way to remember, according to the history she knows, what has happened and how she can help His Majesty. This is because Lee does indeed have a temperamental character and has done things he should not have done, but deep down he is a man who just wants to be loved, and who loves good food, especially that of his new head chef Yeon, so the interaction between the two will grow more and more.
However, it won't be that simple, as Yeon will not only have to prepare good food for His Majesty, but also compete and fight to stay alive, which will be a constant challenge, as will the enemies who want to get Lee out of the way and fulfill the horrible story she knows. Although the past tells us that it cannot be changed, here we could appreciate a different and special meaning, where a plate of food can be the ideal way to change a beast, and at the same time save a kingdom that is about to fall into the wrong hands. Es la historia de Yeon Ji-yeong (Im Yoon-ah) es una mujer dedicada a la cocina, como chef busca superarse y presentar los mejores platos, es una chef reconocida, un día luego de una ardua competencia decide regresar a su hogar, llevando un libro que su padre le encargo llevar, sin embargo, su destino no sería regresar a su casa aún, al contrario, sería ir a la época antigua, donde existían majestades y espadachines, a la época del Rey de Joseon, el hombre conocido como el peor tirano de la historia Lee Heon (Lee Chae-min), lo cual resultará difícil para ella, ya que no solo tendrá que descubrir porque retrocedió tantos años atrás sino también manejar a este tirano que se le presentará en el camino.
Para Yeon no resulta sencillo ya que no entiende que pasa, aunado a que su majestad decide llevarla con él tras descubrir sus habilidades en la cocina, por lo cual a Yeon le resulta fácil ya que aunque este en otra época, la cocina con los buenos ingredientes no deja de poder prepararse, solo adaptarse y dar un toque especial, por lo que su estadía en esa época no resultara tan mala, o al menos mientras descubre como llegó ahí, intentando de la misma manera recordar conforme a la historia que conoce, que ha pasado y como puede ayudar a su majestad, debido a que Lee si es muy cierto que tiene un carácter temperamental y que ha hechos cosas que no debía, pero en el fondo es un hombre que solo quiere ser amado, y que le encanta la buena comida, sobre todo de su nueva jefa de cocina Yeon, por lo que la interacción entre ambos ira creciendo cada vez más.
Aunque no todo será tan sencillo, ya que Yeon no solo tendrá que preparar buena comida para su majestad, el competir y luchar por mantenerse viva será un plato que deberá tener en cuenta a cada momento, así como los enemigos que quieren quitar del camino a Lee y hacer que se cumpla esa horrible historia que ella conoce. Aunque el pasado nos indica que no se puede cambiar, acá podríamos apreciar un sentido diferente y especial, en donde un plato de comida puede ser lo ideal para cambiar a una fiera, y al mismo tiempo salvar un reino que está a punto de caer en malas manos. Familia, poder, trampas, comida, romance e ilusión, esta historia nos llena de ello y mucha más, hasta pensar si existe un punto en que Yeon y Lee podrán estar juntos y cambiar así su destino. Cuenta con 12 capítulos.
