After all, the one we had was still holding up the dishes and kitchen items, so it seemed like it could hold out a little longer.

But in the last few weeks, I told my sister and dad that it just wasn't working anymore—it was wobbling more and more, and besides, it looked terrible. I felt like the kitchen was in bad shape too—maybe I hadn’t paid much attention to it before, but it was really wobbling so much that I thought the dishes would fall at any moment. That’s why we started looking into it, and most of the good, durable ones were made of plastic. Of course, in this case, the three of us were going to share the cost, but we still wanted something more affordable—and, of course, sustainable if we needed it, since we had other expenses, you know. so in the end we found one that was, as they say, good, nice, and—well, cheap, depending on how you look at it, haha—since we split the cost three ways, it didn’t hit our pockets too hard, haha.

Thank goodness we found something made of stainless steel—it looks durable, or at least it should last a while—and on top of that, it makes the plates and cutlery look neater, which turned out great. Assembling it was kind of funny because, based on the picture and common sense, we had to figure it out—there were pieces we didn’t know where to put at first, but then we figured it out. One manufacturing detail was that it didn’t come with some nuts; while it doesn’t throw the tray off balance, they act as a reinforcement—something you could maybe buy later for added security, but for now it’s not necessary, so I feel like that part of the kitchen is better—it feels more comfortable and organized—which is why I really liked this investment.
