Saludos comunidad de @needleworkmonday, hoy les quiero compartir el primer vestido que elaboro para mi querida Angela, como siempre tengo la costumbre de antes de año, les hago una sección de fotos a mis mascotas, y para esta ocasión le quise hacer un vestido a la única hembra que tengo ahorita, me hubiese gustado hacerle también uno a mi bebé Chloe. Así que, espero les guste el resultado.
- Manta polar, color rojo, 1 mt.
- Manta polar, color blanco, 1 mt.
- Tela satén rojo, 1 mt
- Tela satén blanco, 50 cm
- Tela tutu rojo, 50 cm
- Aguja para coser.
- Hilos de costura.
- Tijera.
- Cinta roja de 3 cm de ancho, 1 mt
- Cinta roja de 5 cm de ancho, 1 mt
- Cinta blanca de 3 cm de ancho, 1 mt
- Cinta encaje de 3 cm de ancho, 50 cm
- Un adorno (opcional)

Lo primero, fue hacer un boceto del diseño deseado, del cual me fije de un vestido que tenía de mi Chloe. Con el diseño, dibuje los patrones, sacando las medidas de acuerdo al cuerpo de Angela, para así cortarlos y pasarlos a las telas.
La parte de arriba la hice con la manta polar roja, y lo que sería el resto del vestido, con 3 capas de telas, en diferentes tamaños y niveles: primero el satén de rojo oscuro, luego el satén blanca y posteriormente un poco más pequeño, la de tutu rojo. Con ello, le tomé costura a las orillas de todas las telas a mano, con la técnica despunte, que se asimila un poco a la de la máquina de coser, la cual, tengo, pero aún como que no le agarro la onda, poco a poco. Así mismo, en la parte inferior de la tela el satén rojo, le cosí un poco de tela manta polar blanca.
Al tener las orillas limpias, procedí a coser cada pieza, primero uní las 3 de la zona inferior, el tutu al satén blanca y estas al rojo y así juntarlo a la pieza de arriba. Ahora bien, procedí a buscar una cinta de color rojo para coserla entre las uniones de la parte de arriba con la de abajo (la falda), y con esta cinta, le amarraría a mi perrita el vestido por ese lado.
Ya unido la cinta al vestido, me tocaba hacer unos lazos, ya tenía seleccionada una cinta roja, que es más vibrante que la anterior, una cinta blanca, pero no un blanca mate, sino con su transparencia, se me hace hermosa este estilo de cinta. En este punto, no sabía si ponerle un encaje de color rojo, que cayera detrás de esta blanca, o un encaje blanco; al final me decidí por el blanco, que lo termine amarrando al lazo formado con la cinta blanca.
En las siguientes imágenes, le explico por paso como se hace este tipo de lazo moño, el cual consiste, en tener la cinta con los cuatros dedos, es preferible dejar bastante del lado contrario al pulgar, se pasa la cinta por detrás de los dedos anular y meñique, la vuelve a pasar por delante del anular y meñique, para así pasarla detrás del índice y dedo medio. Luego, vuelve la cinta otra vez a pasarse detrás del anular y meñique, para pasarlo enfrente de ello y detrás del índice y dedo medio. La parte de la cinta sobrante, se da vuelta entre el espacio que hay del dedo medio y el anular, dos veces preferiblemente y, en medio de esas vueltas se pasa el extremo de la cinta, para así fijar el moño, se corta las partes sobrantes y listo.
Estos mismos pasos, los aplique en la blanca. Con los moños listo los cosí al vestido, primero el rojo, y poco más abajo, casi que encima de este, el blanco. Tenía un adorno de un collar viejo en mi casa y se lo pegue, le hace mucho resalte. Ya para finalizar, le cosí cierre mágico, a los extremos que quedaron de la pieza de arriba, que donde se ajustaría la parte del cuello de mi perra. Este fue el resultado y mi Angela lo modelo.

First, I made a sketch of the desired design, which I took from a dress I had of my Chloe. With the design, I drew the patterns, taking the measurements according to Angela's body, in order to cut them and transfer them to the fabrics.
The top part I made with the red polar blanket, and what would be the rest of the dress, with 3 layers of fabrics, in different sizes and levels: first the dark red satin, then the white satin and then a little smaller, the red tutu. With this, I sewed the edges of all the fabrics by hand, with the blunting technique, which is a bit similar to that of the sewing machine, which I have, but I still don't have the hang of it, little by little. Also, at the bottom of the red satin fabric, I sewed some white polar blanket fabric.
When I had the edges clean, I proceeded to sew each piece, first I joined the 3 pieces of the lower area, the tutu to the white satin and these to the red satin and thus join it to the top piece. Now, I proceeded to look for a red ribbon to sew it between the joints of the top and the bottom (the skirt), and with this ribbon, I would tie the dress to my dog on that side.
I had already selected a red ribbon, which is more vibrant than the previous one, a white ribbon, but not a matte white, but with its transparency, I think this style of ribbon is beautiful. At this point, I did not know whether to put a red lace, which would fall behind the white one, or a white lace; in the end I decided for the white one, which I ended up tying it to the bow formed with the white ribbon.
In the following images, I explain step by step how to make this type of bow tie, which consists of having the ribbon with the four fingers, it is preferable to leave enough of the opposite side to the thumb, pass the ribbon behind the ring and little finger, pass it again in front of the ring and little finger, to pass it behind the index and middle finger. Then, the tape is passed again behind the ring and little finger, to pass it in front of it and behind the index and middle finger. The remaining part of the ribbon is turned around between the space between the middle finger and the ring finger, preferably twice and, in the middle of these turns, the end of the ribbon is passed, in order to fix the bow, cut the excess parts and that's it.
I applied the same steps to the white one. With the bows ready I sewed them to the dress, first the red one, and a little lower, almost on top of it, the white one. I had an ornament from an old necklace in my house and I glued it on, it makes it stand out. Finally, I sewed the magic clasp to the ends of the top piece, where the neck part of my dog would fit. This was the result and my Angela modeled it.
