[ESP-ENG] Iniciativa, mi cabello y yo | Initiative, my hair and me

Feliz domingo para todos, hoy quise unirme a esta estupenda iniciativa aunque nadie me ha invitado todavía pero tampoco me han dicho que no puedo participar, es mi primer post en esta comunidad y espero seguir compartiendo con todos y cada uno de ustedes.

Happy Sunday to all, today I wanted to join this great initiative although no one has invited me yet but I have not been told that I can not participate, it is my first post in this community and I hope to continue sharing with each and every one of you.

1 - Qué tipo de cabello tienes? / What type of hair do you have?

Mi cabello es rizado, abundante y a la vez un poco rebelde, eran pocas las veces que andaba con el cabello suelto, la mayoría de las veces solía usar moños, solo me soltaba el cabello cuando lo lavaba o cuando estaba en casa, suelo reconocer que lo tenía un poco maltratado y obviamente no le prestaba mucha atención.

My hair is curly, abundant and at the same time a little unruly, there were few times that I walked with my hair loose, most of the time I used to wear buns, I only let my hair down when I washed it or when I was at home, I usually recognize that I had it a little battered and obviously I didn't pay much attention to it.

2 - ¿Estás conforme con tu estilo de cabello? ¿Sí? ¿No? Explícanos el porqué / Are you happy with your hairstyle? Yes? No? Tell us why

No me gusta mi cabello, jamás me ha gustado el cabello rizado, ondulado o crespo, lo veo en algunas mujeres y se les ve muy hermoso pero en lo que respecta a mí, pues no es mi estilo, siempre quise tener el cabello liso y muy poco abundante, a raíz de mi cabello estaba muy feo siempre quise ocultarlo de alguna manera, mojado era la única manera de tenerlo suelto.

I don't like my hair, I have never liked curly, wavy or frizzy hair, I see it in some women and they look very beautiful but as far as I am concerned, it is not my style, I always wanted to have straight hair and very little abundant, because my hair was very ugly I always wanted to hide it somehow, wet was the only way to have it loose.

3 - ¿Qué te gustaría cambiar de tu cabello y porqué? / What would you like to change about your hair and why?

Me gustaría sacarme la pollina porque es algo que dejé de hacer durante mucho tiempo precisamente por el tipo de cabello, y porque de vez en cuando es bueno hacerse un cambio de look también me gustaría cortarlo un poco ya que no me acostumbro al cabello largo, las veces que lo cortaba siempre era un poco más arriba de los hombros, siento que el cabello largo es algo que no luce conmigo y por supuesto que me gustaría cambiarlo de rizado a liso, es algo que he logrado poco a poco con cirugia capilar y con keratina, cada 5 o 6 meses me estoy aplicando este tipo de tratamiento para mantenerlo como a mi me gusta.

I would like to take out my pollina because it is something that I stopped doing for a long time precisely because of the type of hair, and because from time to time it is good to have a change of look, I would also like to cut it a little because I do not get used to long hair, the times that I cut it was always a little above the shoulders, I feel that long hair is something that does not look good on me and of course I would like to change it from curly to straight, it is something that I have achieved little by little with hair surgery and keratin, every 5 or 6 months I am applying this type of treatment to keep it the way I like it.

4 - De los cortes que te has hecho ¿cuál es el que más te ha gustado? Si tienes fotos, muéstralas. / Of the haircuts you have had, which one did you like the most? If you have photos, show them

La verdad siempre me ha gustado corto y recto, una vez lo corté demasiado en la parte de atrás dejando los lados largos, en el momento quedé fascinada pero ya después lo corte recto de un lado a otro.

The truth is that I have always liked it short and straight, once I cut it too short in the back leaving the sides long, at the time I was fascinated but later I cut it straight from one side to the other.

5 - ¿Viviste alguna experiencia peculiar con tu cabello que te ha marcado? Si es así, cuéntanos tu historia / Have you had a peculiar experience with your hair that has marked you? If so, tell us your story

De niña cuando estaba en la escuela me salieron llagas en la cabeza, eran llagas que abarcaron todo mi cuero cabelludo, el dolor era terrible, no podía ni siquiera tocarlo ni mucho menos lavar mi cabello, aunque de niña uve mi cabello rizado, pues dice mi mamá que era hermoso, a raíz de éstas enormes llagas mi mamá tuvo que raparme la cabeza quitando todo el cabello de mi cabeza, pase tiempo pelona, ja,ja,ja yo digo que por eso quizás mi cabello cambió un poco y me salió mas rizado y más rebelde.

As a child when I was in school I got sores on my head, they were sores that covered my entire scalp, the pain was terrible, I could not even touch it, much less wash my hair, although as a child I used to have curly hair, my mom says it was beautiful, because of these huge sores my mom had to shave my head removing all the hair from my head, I spent time bald, ha,ha,ha, I say that maybe that's why my hair changed a little and I got more curly and more rebellious.

6 - ¿Qué tipo de iniciativas te gustaría ver en la comunidad? / What kind of initiatives would you like to see in the community?

Me gustaria ver todo lo relacionado con el cuidado del cabello, la manera de como lo secamos o lo planchamos para que nos pueda durar un poco más, los tratamientos que usamos para tener un cabello fuerte y brilloso, los tipos de peinados que nos hacemos para cualquier tipo de ocasión.

I would like to see everything related to hair care, the way we dry it or iron it so that it can last a little longer, the treatments we use to have strong and shiny hair, the types of hairstyles we do for any kind of occasion.
