Hoy en mi edad adulta puedo decir que aún a pesar de años muy duros sigo viendo la navidad como esa época de compartir en familia. En vísperas de noche buena época de agradecer, bendecir y reconocer lo que tengo y a quienes tengo, hacer un balance del año que cierra me ha permitido desde hace tiempo cerrar en gratitud, es la época de sentirnos niños de nuevo de valorar la niñez aún sin las carencias que pudimos tener es la sonrisa de saber que llego navidad que nació el niño Jesús y así como él tuvo que salir de su pueblo junto a sus padres yo también lo hice con mis hijos conservo la esperanza de iniciar un nuevo año en tierras lejanas, pidiendo poder regresar a visitar a mi familia, ver esos paisajes y atardeceres reencontrarme con el olor a Mar Caribe.

Actualmente vivo en Oviedo capital del Principado de Asturias una pequeña provincia de España aquí el día viernes por la tarde se realizó el encendido de las luces de navidad en las principales calles para darle inicio a las fechas decembrinas, con un concierto organizado por el ayuntamiento, un grupo de gaitas típicas que llevaron villancicos por las calles del casco histórico para mí fue muy emotivo ya que la alegría de grandes y chicos desbordaba las calles, familias completas paseando y disfrutando una noche que fue muy especial con el clima y la temperatura, recordé mi niñez en las misas de aguinaldos, esa nostalgia de estar lejos de casa, me perdí entre la risa de los niños, el cantar de las personas mayores, el espíritu alegre y bailador de las personas que escuchaban a los cantantes, sentirme adolescente y gritar en la cuenta regresiva para que llegase el encendido, recorrer la catedral y embelezerme con su pesebre aquí le dicen Belén, brindar con una amiga por vivir la experiencia que nos regala el universo, tomar fotos e inmortalizar la noche. Varias citas pendientes en las ciudades cercanas para recorrer sus calles y compartir con amigos y familia estos días.
