The last day of 2021 is unusually warm in Hungary (2021.12.31)
The temperature was 5 °C in the morning, and the maximum temperature was 13 °C in the afternoon. It was as if spring would come.
I did some urban exploration today.
I met a cat at the bus stop of the village, near noon/midday, before I travelled to Szolnok city. I met this cat a few times before. Looks well fed and healthy, so probably not a stray cat.
When I arrived at Szolnok, the weather became a little bit cloudy.
But a little bit later, it was sunshine again, as if it would be spring.
I felt the warmth of the Sun, which was extraordinary good at the end of December.
The weather was beautiful. Especially compared to the season average.
Despite the good weather, only a few people walked on the streets. This made the city look as if it would be abandoned.
Even most of the flowers on the Kossuth square was alive and healthy.
Some of the flowers have waterdrops on them. This made them look even more beautiful.
I saw a beautiful bird feeder on the Thököly street.
And I saw a bird nest too. Also on the Thököly street.

You captured some beautiful images on your walk. The cat looks healthy. I hope it has a well-loved home. The flowers are still blooming and the droplets make them that much more lovely. No flowers left blooming here as temps at freezing now that winter is upon us. 🥶
I am prepared for very cold temperatures in February. Usually that is the coldest month in our country (in Hungary). But we will see. Maybe this winter will not be that cold.

Thank you for your tour. I am amazed that those plants are still alive. Here in Scotland it was warm too with blues skies every other day. No snow and no real frosts but no flowers though. Happy New Year
We still do not have snow, but today morning was cold/frosty (-7 °C). Happy New Year.
I think it is unusual for a place with temperatures below 0°C to have no snow, unless the place has no snow (such as deserts).
