Hello ! Awesome Community, fellow Hivers, and friends!😁😀🐝
In our previous post we looked at the Star gods! the C'tan (https://ecency.com/hive-189497/@xenowolfza/birth-of-the-star-gods) - Today we look at one in detail:

The Void Dragon: The Machine God in Chains

Among the shattered remnants of the ancient Star Gods, none carry as much mystery and myth as Mag'ladroth, the Void Dragon. Feared even among its C’tan kin, the Void Dragon is a being of near-unstoppable power-master of the material realm, devourer of stars, and perhaps the very deity revered unknowingly by the Adeptus Mechanicus as the Machine God.🎛️

The Void Dragon was once a radiant predator, a massive energy being that roamed the stars, cloaked in dark light and destruction. In Aeldari mythology, it’s portrayed as a force of pure obliteration-impossible to stop, its warriors virtually invincible. The Aeldari god Vaul was only able to slow its rampage using the Talismans of Vaul-devices many now believe to be Blackstone Fortresses-and even then, the C’tan was not destroyed, merely shattered.💎

The Void Dragon’s contributions to Necron supremacy during the War in Heaven were significant. It shared its profound knowledge of physical science and energy manipulation, enabling the Necrons to build devastating technologies, including the Blackstone pylons. These constructs, were intended to permanently silence psychic power across the galaxy-a move that would starve the Old Ones and their Warp-spawned creations. The plan ultimately failed, but the echoes of that ancient project linger even into the 41st Millennium.⌛

Like the other C’tan, the Void Dragon was betrayed and shattered into Shards by the Necrons after their revolt, led by the Silent King. Some of these fragments remain imprisoned in Tesseract Labyrinths, but others, like the shard that ravaged the Arotepk Dynasty, have occasionally broken free. This particular fragment destroyed several Necron worlds in a berserk rage before being contained again-proof that even splinters of Mag'ladroth’s power are terrifyingly dangerous.☢️

Worshipped:

But perhaps the most unsettling lore surrounding the Void Dragon ties it directly to Mars. Long-held rumors suggest that the being known to the Mechanicus as the Dragon of Mars is, in fact, the Void Dragon itself—sealed beneath the Noctis Labyrinth by the Emperor before the rise of the Imperium. The Adeptus Mechanicus worship this Dragon as their Omnissiah, and its influence may explain the supernatural affinity many Tech-priests display toward machines.🌒

Apex!
Technologically, the Void Dragon is unmatched. It can manipulate blackstone, the very material that disrupts Warp energy, and its physical form—when manifested—appears to flicker as if reality itself is trying to keep up with its presence. The Shards of the Void Dragon are weapons of terrifying efficiency, capable of erasing both machine and man with crackling arcs of techno-lightning.⚡

Should the Void Dragon ever be freed in full, the galaxy may face a new god-not one of Chaos or spirit, but of raw, unforgiving logic and annihilation.🫤

Next time:
We will look at the Nightbringer...💀

Until next time - Peace😀✌️!
