Christmas Advent, 2022: Day 8

Day 8 of the Lego Advent Calendar is upon us! This will be the second build from The Prisoner of Azkaban. What will we find behind Door Number 8?

Oh, this one is chilly, and very obvious at even a quick glance: Dementors!

This micro build, like the one from yesterday, uses two 1x4 bricks as a base instead of a single 2x4. It's minor, just a curiousity.

If it were not for the Dementor pieces in this build, the build itself would be naught more than a couple of flowers. But the Dementor's themselves are rather impressive pieces. I often gush about how impressive it is that simple blocks, when combined in the right way, can be used to build almost anything; there are times, however, when something More is needed, and these Dementor pieces fit that need. It is still simple, and a close look shows that their hands and legs meet the "minifig" model, but the detail is there. It looks really snazzy. Makes me want to hunt down some actual Dementor minifigs.
