First, how did he get younger if he was born 2000 years ago??? 😂

Second, that house is not trashy looking!!! It looks clean and loved :)

Haha! Did you get to read the whole thing? He was born in 1990BC (that was Before Christ) and in 1995 he was 15 because it was AD After Christ.

Well, trashy is the wrong word. It was abused by someone I let use it, and it has really taken a toll on its former beauty. It is coming along and it will be only some time before she is restored to like-new condition. She is so very much loved! Thank you for stopping by and leaving your words.

#MarketFriday loves you!

Actually I'm not sure if the inside was worse than the outside but it was pretty bad. I have spent months taking my time, when I have the time, and painting, sanding and all sorts of fun things but it is pretty much complete inside but the outside needs to be contracted out and much of the materials was overpriced because of covid. So the roof is on now and the soffits will be going on in a couple weeks. I will put the screens and the shutters back on and wash the windows tell me which is he's here with the power washes. It's getting there and take some time and there is a couple other little things inside for the most part it should be good to go and by next spring it'll be house beautiful again. Never to be loaned out again.

I can imagine!IIt's not just the condition either, you need to be ableto use it as a retreat :) How long were they in there ?

Three long years. Without going into too much detail it took me over a year to get them out. Using legal methods would only have created drama, so I opted to be nice, but I can tell you that being nice doesn't work with some people. But, Lessons Learned and I just don't want it to make me not want to help somebody in need. So I look at it as a learning experience that I won't be doing again. LOL

That must have been a nightmare! Did they at least pay rent???

Never stop helping, but do make sure that you can decide the terms of that help! Don't let anyone feel entitled to more and more :( ...

They didn't pay rent. They were related to me and I really felt bad for them, but realize that I wasn't doing them any favors. I also didn't live in the area for a while, so, it made it impossible t monitor, but, thinking of myself only, if someone had let me live in their house to give me a financial boost and get me back on my feet, I would feel especially obligated to do well.

But, that is just me.
