Hive Open Mic Week 104 | Edelweiss | Cover
Hello music lovers, greetings! This week, I was a bit thrown off by the theme "Guitarra Automática" and I felt sad that I only took one guitar lesson since we got a guitar in the house. But not to worry, I immediately knew what I was going to sing even if I don't know how to play the guitar.
Edelweiss ('Wool flower') pronounced 'ay-dul-vise' is one of the Sound of Music songs. It was composed and sung by Richard Rodgers for the movie, although it looked like it was the character 'Captain Von Trapp' singing it in the scene where he played for the Baroness and his kids.
sourceThis song was performed with the captain playing the guitar and it was what made me resolve that if I ever was going to play an instrument, it definitely had to be the guitar. I love this song so much and I hope my attempt at it is good enough to make you love it too.

Hola amantes de la música, saludos! Esta semana me desconcertó un poco el tema "Guitarra Automática" y me dio pena que solo tomé una clase de guitarra ya que tenemos una guitarra en la casa. Pero no te preocupes, inmediatamente supe lo que iba a cantar aunque no supiera tocar la guitarra.
Edelweiss ('Flor de lana') pronunciada 'ay-dul-vise' es una de las canciones de Sonido Musical. Fue compuesta y cantada por Richard Rodgers para la película, aunque parecía que era el personaje 'Capitán Von Trapp' quien la cantaba en la escena en la que interpretaba a la Baronesa y sus hijos.
Esta canción fue interpretada con el capitán tocando la guitarra y fue lo que me hizo decidir que si alguna vez iba a tocar un instrumento, definitivamente tenía que ser la guitarra. Me encanta esta canción y espero que mi intento sea lo suficientemente bueno como para que a ti también te encante.

This song is a national anthem in my house. My parents and I always watched the movie and anticipated the singing parts.

There is this crazy show on Amazon called The Man in The High Castle. And that's the theme tune but it's in German and creepy. I way preferred your version.

Hola saludos muy linda esa canción yo ví la película Sonrisas y lágrimas ( la novicia rebelde ) de 1965 muy buena por la vivencia de Austria en plena guerra nazi cierto.
