FEELING LOST, DISCOURAGED, NEGLECTED, DISCARDED, ALONE?

Discouragement, the feeling of losing confidence or enthusiasm is not always intentional but discouraging moments can rapidly increase the rate at which one is being discouraged. We often get discouraged when we interact with people who does not share the same vision like ours. Or when we realize that the odds are not in our favor, then we begin to feel down and lose hope in a positive result. The people who will never see the good in any idea that you share with them. No one ever starts something with the intention of being discouraged along the line.

No one is exempted from discouragement, we all get discouraged at one point or the other in our lives that we may begin to give up about life. Sometimes it may seem as if you have been cursed to be discouraged whenever you are in certain situations in your life. It is hard for so many people to handle losing confidence and enthusiasm because they have high hopes and the moment things are not working their way they begin to see life as being unfair. It is true that we all have positive expectations but live can happen that we don't get what we want.

We often believe that it is crucial to plan but sometimes we don't get the result for what we planned for but the other way around. This can be quite discouraging and make you feel like walking away, giving up or quit. However, in these difficult situations it is vital to summon courage and face these discouraging situations with a positive mindset. A positive mindset will make you stand strong in the middle of all discouragements and help you to gain your confidence back to be able to forge ahead.

In the face of discouragements it is advisable to look away from the problems and focus on ways to get over them. It is impossible to solve a problem by constantly wallowing in regrets and disappointments. Rather look for ways to solve the problems which may include getting rid of negative minded friends who are not always supportive of your ideas, staying away from every form of distractions that make you pay less attention to your goals such as your smartphone, music, video games, food, sleep, etc.

Have you seen a football team losing to their opponents at halftime, looking discouraged and lack of confidence and they come back to equalize and win the match at the end of 90 minutes. This is sometimes attributed to a fantastic team talk by the manager during the half time break. The manager will ensure that he motivate them and make them believe that they can come out successful at the end of the game. You can do this to yourself when you are caught up in discouraging moments, speak optimistically to yourself and don't underestimate the power of the motivational words you speak to yourself.
