Shrimpy shrimps

You know that song that may sound weird the first time you play it but later find out it was fire? That’s the story between shrimpy shrimps
and I!

I remember the first time I had fried shrimps, I disliked the taste so much that I forced myself to eat it to avoid waste. I can’t remember the last time I did that.
Well I decided to give it a second try and my opinion didn’t really change until two days ago when I realized the third time truly is a charm.

I’ve been coming across shrimps recipes on social media and a lot of people seem to really like it so the open minded personality in me just couldn’t resist and took it as a sign.
This time I used a different strategy.
I got the bigger sized shrimps, seasoned it with salt and pepper, fried it and serve paired with my mom’s Jellof rice recipe.
And all I can say is, I really outdid myself.
It was so good that the family finished the whole thing that same night. I don’t know if there are different species of shrimps but apparently, my tastebuds fell in love with the big ones.
Ever since, shrimpy shrimps has and will always be my go to proteins!
Sushi just might be my next try.
