Road trip gone wrong

So yesterday I decided to take this duo on a short road trip because God forbid they stay in the house alone without making those whiny sounds and the cutest puppy eyes to tag along.

I was going to my tailor’s to drop off some clothes and decided to take the girls because no one was home.
Thankfully the Uber guy was a dog person, he was so accommodating even after Tracy messed up his back seat.

On our way I noticed Tracy (the brown pup) was unusually quiet and clinging to her mother Lucy, meanwhile Lucy was clinging to me and salivating all over my shirt.
I finished one roll of tissue because of her.

That aside, the trip was going good and they maintained so much decorum to the extent I was about to commend them for their good behavior until Tracy vomited all over the back seat just as we arrived at our destination.
That was how I knew she was extremely prone to car sickness.

On our way back home, I suffered even more.

This time the Uber guy wasn’t a fan of dogs but somehow still accepted the ride even after I had told him I was with two.
He constantly warned that they shouldn’t pee or poo on his car seat and knowing how well trained these two were, I assured him they would never.

Whole time I was hoping and praying Tracy doesn’t puke because this man wasn’t playing.

Coming back home took hours because of the hectic traffic we met and I was super proud of Tracy for holding it in till we got home.

We spent about three hours on the road and she managed to sleep all through.
Maybe she sensed the Uber guy’s rage or she was just overly tired but either way she behaved so well and made me super relieved.

We finally got home and they were both so happy to be back and honestly so was I.

Well in essence, I love my dogs but this would be the last time I take them on a road trip in Uber and the likes.

It was stressful!
