PRODUCTIVITY: CREATING REGULAR EVERYDAY MORNING PRACTICES

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. It is important to have a routine you follow when you wake up every morning as you start your day. Creating a morning routine will condition your mind to know what to do and when to do it rather than getting up late from bed, missing your breakfast and rushing to the door so as to meet up with your appointments. You will have full control over your day when you create a routine that you follow diligently and by extension you'd have a productive day. Well, sit back, relax and enjoy all that I have packaged for your reading pleasure.

Planning the way you want to start your morning is not only going to make you productive but it will also help you to maintain a stable overall mental health. When there is a reduction in how you rush in the morning to get set for work and there is a reduction on how you miss or arrive late at appointments, then you will be less stressed. Therefore, creating a regular routine in the morning will help you pay more attention to the important things and help you achieve your goal for the day with more ease.

There is no one-size-fits-all rule in creating your morning routine but most times they are similar, so be sure to understand yourself and create one that will work effectively for you. The most important one is the time that you get up from bed. If you are someone who like sleeping like me then you must ensure that you learn to wake up early and resist the urge of snoozing your alarm. The benefit of waking up early is that it gives you more time to prepare for your day without any rush and this will make you achieve more targets. Also, you must learn to be consistent with the time you wake up every day - if it's 5am, let it be 5am daily.

The next most important thing to do after waking up early is to ensure that you leave your bed in a state that it will be easy for you to relax when you return from a stressful day. In other words, take some minutes to make your bed when you wake up. The process of putting your bed in order may look simple but trust me you are building yourself up to be an organized person. Do you know that you have accomplished one thing in the first few minutes of waking up? Yes, it's that simple and easy. This singular act will also enable you to pay attention to some minor and major areas of your life where you need to be organized. Do you know that from making your bed, you can also move on to keeping the room as a whole in order.

In addition, you must make sure that you have your breakfast before you go out of the house or at some point in the morning. This is the reason I earlier said there is no rule for creating your morning routine. Some people prefer to have their breakfast as early as possible in the morning and some others may wait till some later hour in the morning. But the most important thing is not to skip breakfast for any reason. When you start your day with breakfast you will have more energy to be able. Settle down to eat and enjoy your breakfast and don't be like that busy man or woman that is being portrayed in movies that take a bite of bread and drink tea while running to the door. When you wake up early you have enough time to enjoy your meal.

It is also crucial to maintain a positive and high mindset from the moment you are up from bed. You can do this by reading books, listening to music or listening to motivational clips to put you in a high mood. You can also add to your positivity by opening your curtain or blinds so that light will come in or switch on the lights if it's too dark outside. If you spend the early hours of the morning in a dark room it may make you feel more sleepy and tired. So ensure that you lighten up your room , read books or listen to mindlifting songs for more positive energy.

More importantly, make a to-do list of the activities of the day and this will also help you to get rid of spending time doing unimportant activities. The to-do list is a useful tool that will help you ensure that you do not leave any stone unturned. There are other activities that can be included in your morning routine but it is based on individuals. Some of them include praying, working out or early morning walk, etc.
