FIGHTING AGAINST INSECURITY IS OUR JOINT RESPONSIBILITY

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. Insecurity has become a serious challenge in the world and it may take the efforts of all to get rid of this menace that is eating deep into the peace of mind of people across the world. It was not a pleasant night for the residents in my community on the 8th of this month as we were under attack but with the joint effort of all, the attack failed. Well, sit back, relax and enjoy all that I have packaged for your reading pleasure.

I woke up at about some minutes past 3am on the 8th, Tuesday, February 2022 to the security alarm in my community. The alarm is always switched on when there is an emergency situation in the community, and I was curious to know what the problem was. I located my phone and scrolled through the community WhatsApp group to see messages that there is a robbery attempt in a particular house and every one should converge at a particular location with their whistle and torchlight.

After about an hour that the first attempt failed, these miscreants still tried to attack another house but the ever cooperative residents and the security guards are out in their numbers again to ensure that the operation is not successful. The bravery and courage of those who were out their is second to none. I will be sincere, I didn't leave my house all through because I was afraid. I couldn't imagine facing armed robbers face-to-face without weapons. I assume most of the people that went out may be armed with one thing or another.

The catch of the gist is that the world will be more safe for everyone to live if we all join forces together to fight against insecurity, starting from our respective places of residence. We will surely sleep with our two eyes closed when we are united in fighting against all the people that derive joy in making others weep.

It is crazy how some people are sleeping during the day when others are working and working during the night when others sleeping. It is the time when people are sleeping after a long day's work that some people will get ready to carry out their evil acts. Well, a child that says his mother will not sleep will not also be able to sleep. We will continue to rise against every form of breakdown of Law and Order as a people,in our own way.
