The Climate Model Changes
Good intentions plus life interruptions are a poor climate model, apparently. I made a promise to myself (and publicly) that I would do my best to write more frequently..... weeks ago. I hide behind the curtain and stare out at the cruel world which someone, somewhere shoved down my throat as "the new normal."
Well, I'm not buying it. Is war the new normal now, too? The world oozes death, destruction, despair and poverty is sniffing on the heels of many who are fighting to survive as the price of everything leaps.
The depression world my grandparents raised our parents in taught me how resourceful humans are. Gramma saved plastic bread bags and rewashed them. I cleaned off the table many times at family gatherings. Every meal included a bowl of head lettuce, a plate of sliced bread and a glass of sliced carrot sticks and celery sticks soaked in water.
The climate change that has happened is an attitude of hatred and suspension. We need love. Pure, unadulterated, selfless love for our neighbors here and abroad.

I am sickened by what happened today, Russia bombed a maternity hospital, I just can't wrap my head around how anyone, in their right mind or not in their right mind, could do such a thing.

I was telling my husband that I think that we are becoming what our Forefathers fought against and left England for, the rich are like the Kings and Queens and the rest of us are peasants.
I agree. It is wicked and reprehensible. The problem is that there is no free land to escape to. The Bible prophesies in Revelation speak of darker days to come than these and it is time to look up.
Yes, we all need to "look up" and get on our knees.

Update; Jeff bought a used traction machine off of ebay and has been using it daily. It gives him a break from pain for a while. We are counting the days until his surgery consult and hopefully pain injection.
I am glad to hear that he is getting some relief.
