A Bit About Boats

I've yet to hop into a row boat, but I have been in a small fishing boat. Grandpa loved to fish in Lake Erie. I don't eat fish and don't go in boats often, but I kayaked a few times and would enjoy doing that again. I never knew how relaxing that would feel. I was dating a guy who loved to kayak and had access to two. The guy disappeared and I haven't kayaked since, but I would enjoy this again if the opportunity presents itself.

The neighbor who rents from us has two kayaks and said we are welcome to borrow them one day if we want to. There never seems to be enough weekend in the weekend.

Typically weekends are filled with what needs to be done and we squeeze time for fun, or other things, like events. This weekend is an event. Jeff is desperately trying to ready the plane for flying this summer, but has encountered numerous obstacles and a shortage of parts needed for upgrading the Piper Cherokee to IVR flight capability. He drove an hour to pick up the smallest gear to use for the installation. The plane will not make the departure deadline tomorrow, so we are in for the six-hour drive.

I feel a migraine coming on and that is not a little good. We take off after work at 4:30 EST to Virginia to visit my sister. I am praying that this migraine does not blossom into something unmanageable.
