Good day Bible readers, Summary of what I learnt on our Mass Indoctrination day 4 on zoom

we talked about prayer.
So what is prayer? prayer is a communication of request between a person to his authority

in order for a man to have a fruitful prayer life When it comes to God, man must retain God's word in his heart and obey it at all times.

Psalms 119:11 (KJV) Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

All men should have God's word in their hearts. Because only God's message has the power to change a man's life. And we are sanctified by God's word.

John 17:17 (KJV) Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

1 Peter 1:22 (KJV) Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

2 Timothy 2:19 (KJV) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Now, if you have the word of God in your heart, it will sanctify you and keep you away from the path of evil. So, as Christians, what are the things we are not required to do in order to be sanctified?

Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV)
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
