El fin de semana pasado mi novio y yo estábamos un poco cansados de la monotonía y decidimos arreglarnos un poco e invitar a un amigo a una disco para disfrutar de la noche mientras tomábamos algo, hablábamos y también bailábamos.

Last weekend my boyfriend and I were a bit tired of the monotony and decided to dress up a bit and invite a friend to a disco to enjoy the night while we had a drink, talked and danced.

Un tiempo más tarde de haber llegado al lugar, se presentó una icónica persona de la ciudad, la señora de las rosas, quien tiene una larga historia de su trabajo vendiendo rosas, muy inspiradora, por cierto. Ella se presenta en lugares donde frecuentan parejas, con una canasta llena de flores y ofreciendo las mismas, lugares tales como disco-bar, restaurant, cafés y más...

Some time after arriving at the place, an iconic person from the city appeared, the lady of the roses, who has a long history of her work selling roses, very inspiring, by the way. She appears in places where couples frequent, with a basket full of flowers and offering them, places such as disco-bar, restaurant, cafes and more...

En esta oportunidad mi pareja y yo nos encontramos en la disco-bar D' La Costa cuando ella llegó, y sin dudarlo dos veces mi novio me regaló una hermosa rosa roja vívida, envuelta en papel celofán y un lazo fucsia. Estaba distraída, hablando con nuestro amigo cuando esto ocurrió, así que a pesar de que estaba sentada al lado de mi novio al no darme cuenta cuando adquirió la rosa, me sorprendió mucho cuando me la entregó.

This time my partner and I met at the disco-bar D' La Costa when she arrived, and without hesitation my boyfriend gave me a beautiful vivid red rose, wrapped in cellophane and a fuchsia bow. I was distracted talking to our friend when this happened, so even though I was sitting next to my boyfriend not realizing when he got the rose, I was really surprised when he handed it to me.

Para mí, el detalle de una rosa roja es algo hermoso, un detalle que años anteriores eran muy frecuentes y que al paso de los mismos se ha quedado atrás, desplazado por otras cosas materiales que normalmente suelen ser mucho más costosas pero que jamás tendrán la sencillez y natural significado de una rosa roja.

For me, the detail of a red rose is something beautiful, a detail that was very frequent in previous years and that has been left behind over the years, displaced by other material things that are usually much more expensive but that will never have the simplicity and natural meaning of a red rose.

Y es que las rosas rojas por excelencia son representativas del amor, éstas aluden al color de la sangre, que bombea en nuestro corazón y por lo tanto están ligadas a este sentimiento mutuo en la relaciones, el amor. Para mí, este detalle valió muchísimo, y aunque no es la primera vez que me regala una rosa, me emociona y me encanta cada vez que recibo dicho detalle de la persona que más amo, porque a través de esa simple atención me demuestra amor, respeto y admiración, los significados más importantes para mí que se reflejan en una rosa.

And it is that the red roses par excellence are representative of love, they allude to the color of the blood, which pumps in our hearts and therefore they are linked to this mutual feeling in relationships, love. For me, this detail was worth a lot, and although it is not the first time that he gives me a rose, it moves me and I love it every time I receive this detail from the person I love the most, because through that simple attention he shows me love, respect and admiration, the most important meanings for me that are reflected in a rose.
