My vision of entrepreneurship at Hive [EN/ES]

I consider it very important to be motivated by the great possibility of fulfilling our dreams. To be really positive so that it happens and is fulfilled according to our plans. That is where the word "entrepreneurship" comes in, because every effort produces a result.

I was a few years younger when I ventured into this search. And I must say that what I found was something else at first. I could see that in me, there was a certain capacity for literary writing, something I had no idea about until then, because with the passage of time and the stay in the Hive Blockchain, I was able to improve my stories and learn from other users who had a more extensive knowledge than me.

That showed me that it was possible to get rewards with what you are so passionate about and that, undoubtedly, would be something I would keep in mind forever. That is where I wanted to direct my thoughts from now on.

I want to emphasize the fact that one starts with many doubts in the beginning and clears them with the passage of time through the experience of trial and error. Obviously our effort will be focused on not making them, but if we find them, we will be of help to better guide newcomers to the platform.

Entrepreneurship, in my opinion, is to develop an idea with what is produced from a source of income. This is quite subjective, because not everyone thinks in the same way, so there will be people who will invest their capital in generating more sources of income as others who spend their money on satiating their tangible pleasures, such as buying an electronic product. There will also be those who do both things, such as buying something that will be useful for their entertainment and, at the same time, will be their work tool.

Based on this premise, my objective from the beginning was clear. To obtain, through effort and dedication, my work and study tool. And I must say that I succeeded, and it was purely and exclusively thanks to Hive that I was able to raise enough money to make such an important purchase that would change my life completely.

I was also able to contribute in providing food and household necessities to my family, something that is also something to be grateful for, so at every opportunity I express my happiness for belonging to this community full of opportunities and interesting people.

How has your growth process been on the platform?

It has been a growth from ignorance. Well, as any person who arrives to a platform, does it with many stumbles. I remember that some years ago, I used to make the typical mistakes of not properly including the sources of the images, nor did I use the ones that were fully free of copyright. There were users who guided me as well as others who got angry directly giving me a downvote with a somewhat curt explanation. But it wasn't until then that I was able to enter a community where they directed me in the right direction, giving me guidance on how I had to do this process correctly.

There I met the Hive-Mexico community, where I was able to learn many things by asking questions or just talking to those who know the most. For one must go for the answers to satisfy them. Then I met the Aliento community, where I also learned other things that helped me to move forward.

But I must admit that pure growth comes from effort itself. So I was seeing how the layout of publications was done, so I had to learn Markdown and also some HTML.

Not so long ago I could understand how to make columns where you can add text, using divs, to the left and right. I could never have done it if I didn't investigate how it worked, nor if I was doing it right. Asking questions is something that is very necessary for us, especially if we want to improve what we are working on.

Basically, my growth on the platform was remarkable. Reviewing my first publications I have seen that I have improved enough to say, "I am doing well", and convince myself that I will be able to achieve many more things in the future.

Likewise, the rewards were increasing compared to previous times, even when I was in the previous Blockchain, which many consider unmentionable. Therefore, I understood that here, at Hive, my work was valued. Obviously there were days when it didn't happen, but it's not lost work because every creation lasts on the blockchain and contributes to add value to your career as a creator of literary content.

If someone likes your story, it is really fascinating, because that person used part of their time to consume your content, created especially for others. Reading them is also something we should do more often.

Do you have a plan of action?

I really believe that I can give more of my contribution to the literary community. But what matters most to me is to find users who can develop interest and skill in literary stories. For many that is innate, it is in their being, but there are also people who are oriented to find a particular taste on the different topics of literature.

I see potential in that, because each person has an ocean of imagination, very different from mine. Out of which will come all kinds of exciting stories to be read by the most amateur readers in the world. My plan of action is the creation of valuable content for the platform given by various writers, in my taste, on the paranormal plane.

A good while ago with @eliezerfloyd we had created "The Kyteler Brotherhood". For reasons of occupations and little time, we did not finish to make the community evolve. Still, there are several ideas about it, and I hope in the future, to be the ones to reward the most faithful writers of our legacy.

In my vision, that evolution would be given by multifaceted content, which will cover not only literature, but also photography, art, audiovisual, and even merchandising.

That's what I want to get to at some point 🚀

What strengthening and growth strategies would you recommend to the hiver who wants to make Hive his or her venture?

I think this is something we should keep in mind from now on, because before we know it, we will have already made a lot of progress and will have to climb a mountain even higher than the previous one.

The points I would focus on would be the following:

• Find your vocation before you start creating content.
• Do a lot of research on how to improve the way you present your material to the public.
• Relate with others. Because the benefit can be mutual in case of help.
• Read a lot of other user's publications. You will learn from them what you lack yourself.
• Don't try to surpass someone else, or compare yourself. The best is to be on the same line
• Believe in yourself, because you are the one who will make the impossible possible.

As for monetary investments, I would say that whatever you invest and you see that it produces something extra, it will be a good option. Even spending money on something you need is not a waste, because it can be a tool you need to improve your content creation.

Finally, there are many ways to grow on the Hive Blockchain. Everything you generate along the way will open your mind to venture into something else. It can be investing in different games that will produce tokens, in NFTs, in your own voting power or delegating to different projects or communities. The possibilities are varied and it will be up to you to discover them with experience.

Closing my participation in this initiative and without wanting to extend myself any further, let's summarize that the potential is within us and we are the owners of our possibilities. The more we try, the closer we will be to achieving it. We must not give up until we can see changes in which we understand that we have advanced and succeeded.

Considero algo muy importante motivarse por la gran posibilidad de cumplir los sueños. De ser realmente positivos para que eso suceda y se cumpla según nuestros planes. Es ahí donde entra la palabra "emprendimiento", pues todo esfuerzo produce un resultado.

Tenía algunos años menos cuando me aventuré en esa búsqueda. Y debo decir que lo que encontré fue otra cosa en primera instancia. Pude ver que en mí, existía cierta capacidad para la escritura literaria, algo de lo que no tenía idea hasta entonces, pues con el paso del tiempo y de la estadía en la Blockchain de Hive, pude mejorar mis relatos y aprender del de los demás usuarios que tenían un conocimiento más extenso que yo.

Eso me demostró que era posible obtener recompensas con eso que te apasiona tanto y que, sin lugar a dudas, sería algo que tendría en mente por siempre. Hacia allí quería dirigir mi pensamiento de ahora en más.

Quiero resaltar el hecho de que uno comienza con muchas dudas en un principio y las va despejando con el paso de tiempo a través de la experiencia de la prueba y el error. Obviamente nuestro esfuerzo se enfocará en no cometerlos, pero si los encontráramos, serviríamos de ayuda para orientar mejor a los nuevos que lleguen a la plataforma.

Emprender, según mi opinión, es desarrollar una idea con lo producido desde una fuente de ingreso. Esto es bastante subjetivo, pues no todos pensamos de la misma manera, por lo que habrán personas que invertirán su capital en generar más fuentes de ingresos como otras que destinen su dinero en saciar sus placeres tangibles, como la compra de un producto electrónico. Existirá también quien haga ambas cosas, como comprarse algo que le sirva para su entretenimiento y a su vez, sea su herramienta de trabajo.

Basados en esta premisa, mi objetivo desde un principio fue claro. Obtener a base de esfuerzo y dedicación mi herramienta de trabajo y de estudio. Y debo decir que lo logré, y fue pura y exclusivamente gracias a Hive que pude reunir lo suficiente como para hacer tan importante compra que cambiaría mi vida por completo.

También pude contribuir en abastecer de comida y necesidades del hogar a mi familia, algo que también es de agradecer, por lo que en cada oportunidad expreso mi felicidad por pertenecer a esta comunidad llena de oportunidades y gente interesante.

¿Cómo ha sido tu proceso de crecimiento en la plataforma?

Ha sido un crecimiento desde el desconocimiento. Pues como toda persona que llega a una plataforma, lo hace con muchos tropiezos. Recuerdo que hacía un tiempo basado en años, cometía los errores típicos de no incluir adecuadamente las fuentes de las imágenes, ni tampoco usaba las que eran plenamente libres de derechos de autor. Hubieron usuarios que me orientaron como también otros que se enojaron directamente dándome un downvote con una explicación algo cortante. Pero no fue hasta entonces que pude entrar a una comunidad en donde me dirigieron hacia el buen camino, dándome orientación sobre cómo tenía que hacer ese proceso correctamente.

Allí conocí a la comunidad Hive-México, donde pude aprender muchas cosas preguntando o tan solo dialogando con quienes más saben. Pues uno debe ir a por las respuestas para satisfacerlas. Luego conocí la comunidad de Aliento, donde también aprendí otras cosas que me ayudaron a avanzar.

Pero debo admitir que el crecimiento puro viene dado por un esfuerzo mismo. Por lo que estuve viendo cómo se realizaba la maquetación de las publicaciones, por lo que tuve que aprender Markdown y también algo de HTML.

Hasta no hace mucho pude entender cómo se realizaban las columnas donde puedes añadir texto, utilizando los div, hacia la izquierda y derecha. No lo podría haber logrado nunca si no investigaba cómo funcionaba, ni tampoco si lo estaba haciendo bien. Preguntar es algo que nos es muy necesario, sobre todo si queremos mejorar en lo que estemos trabajando.

Básicamente mi crecimiento en la plataforma fue notable. Pues revisando mis primeras publicaciones he visto que he mejorado lo suficiente como para decir, "lo estoy haciendo bien", y convencerme de que podré lograr muchas más cosas en el futuro.

Así mismo, las recompensas fueron aumentando respecto a tiempos anteriores, incluso en los que estaba en la anterior Blockchain, que muchos consideran innombrable. Por lo tanto, entendí que aquí, en Hive, mi trabajo era valorado. Obviamente hubieron días en los que no se dio, pero no es trabajo perdido pues, toda creación perdura en la cadena de bloques y contribuye en añadirte valor en cuanto a tu trayectoria como creador de contenido literario.

Que a alguien le guste tu relato, es realmente fascinante, porque esa persona usó parte de su tiempo en consumir tu contenido, creado especialmente para los demás. Leerlos a ellos, también es algo que deberíamos hacer más a menudo.

¿Tienes un plan de acción?

Realmente creo que puedo dar más de mi en aporte a la comunidad literaria. Pero lo que más me importa es encontrar usuarios que puedan lograr desarrollar interés y habilidad sobre los relatos literarios. Para muchos eso es innato, está en su ser, pero también existen personas que están orientadas a encontrar un gusto particular sobre las distintas temáticas de la literatura.

Yo en eso veo potencial, porque cada persona tiene un océano de imaginación, muy distinta a la mía. De la que saldrán todo tipo de historias emocionantes para ser leídas por los más aficionados lectores del mundo. Mi plan de acción es la creación de contenido valioso para la plataforma dado por varios escritores, en mi gusto, sobre el plano paranormal.

Hace un buen tiempo con @eliezerfloyd habíamos creado "La Hermandad Kyteler". Por razones de ocupaciones y poco tiempo, no terminamos de hacer evolucionar la comunidad. Aún así, hay varias ideas sobre ello, y espero en un futuro, ser quienes recompensemos a los escritores más fieles de nuestro legado.

En mi visión, esa evolución estaría dada por contenidos multifacéticos, los cuales cubrirán no solamente la literatura, sino también la fotografía, arte, audiovisual, e incluso merchandising.

¿Qué estrategias de fortalecimiento y crecimiento le recomendarías al hiver que desea hacer de Hive su emprendimiento?

Creo que es algo que tendríamos que tener en cuenta de ahora en adelante, porque antes de que nos demos cuenta, ya habremos avanzado mucho y tocará escalar una montaña aún más alta que la anterior.

Los puntos que centraría serían los siguientes:

• Encontrar tu vocación antes de empezar a crear contenido
• Investigar mucho sobre como mejorar la forma en que presentas tu material al público
• Relacionarse con los demás. Pues el beneficio puede ser mutuo en caso de ayuda
• Leer mucho las publicaciones de otro usuario. Aprenderás de el lo que te falte a ti
• No intentar sobrepasar a alguien, ni compararse. Lo mejor es estar sobre la misma línea
• Creer en ti mismo, pues eres quien logrará hacer lo imposible, posible

En cuanto a inversiones monetarias, diría que a todo lo que inviertas y veas que produce algo extra, será una buena opción. Incluso gastar dinero en algo que necesites, no es un desperdicio, pues puede tratarse de una herramienta que necesites para mejorar la creación de tu contenido.

Por último, hay muchas maneras de crecer en la Blockchain de Hive. Todo lo que generes en el transcurso abrirá tu mente para que emprendas en algo más. Puede ser invertir en distintos juegos que producirán tokens, en NFTs, en tu propio poder de voto o delegando a distintos proyectos o comunidades. Las posibilidades son variadas y tocará descubrirlas con la experiencia.

Cerrando mi participación en esta iniciativa y sin querer seguir extendiéndome aún más, resumimos en que el potencial está dentro nuestro y somos dueños de nuestras posibilidades. Mientras más lo intentemos, estaremos mucho más cerca de lograrlo. No hay que desistir hasta poder ver cambios en los que uno entienda que ha avanzado y ha tenido éxito.
