An interesting tool to compare the market cap of your favorite cryptocurrency | MarketCapOf [ES/EN]
El otro día estaba navegando por Twitter y me encontré con una herramienta que a mi parecer es muy útil para analizar el potencial de una criptomoneda que te esté llamando el interés.
Esta herramienta lo que hace es comparar la capitalización de mercado de una moneda A respecto a una moneda B. Nos arrojará como resultado su valor e índice de multiplicación si eso sucediera.
A mi modo de ver, es sumamente interesante poder observar los distintos escenarios posibles que existen detrás de un proyecto serio y con cierto potencial. Obviamente habrá que analizar distintos factores pero es algo que en cierta manera sumará en nuestros análisis.
The other day I was browsing Twitter and I came across a tool that I think is very useful to analyze the potential of a cryptocurrency that is calling your interest.
What this tool does is to compare the market capitalization of a currency A with respect to a currency B. It will give us as a result its value and multiplication index if that were to happen.
In my opinion, it is extremely interesting to be able to observe the different possible scenarios that exist behind a serious project with certain potential. Obviously we will have to analyze different factors but it is something that in a way will add up in our analysis.
Si no saben como se calcula el Market Cap es tan sencillo como multiplicar el precio actual de la moneda por el supply que hay en circulación. Por ejemplo con Hive:
Circulating supply: 371,261,453
Price: $0.944
Market cap: $350,470,811
Como ven, los resultados son aproximados, supongo que es debido a los decimales que tiene el precio que hace variar el resultado.
Algo a tener en cuenta es que la comparación en lo posible debemos hacerla con una moneda similar. Con esto me refiero a que el proyecto sea lo más parecido posible. No podemos comparar HIVE por ejemplo con el DOGE, ya que esta segunda es una meme coin, que bien podría comparársele con el KIBA o SHIBA INU.
If you do not know how to calculate the Market Cap, it is as simple as multiplying the current price of the currency by the supply in circulation. For example with Hive:
Circulating supply: 371,261,453
Price: $0.944
Market cap: $350,470,811
As you can see, the results are approximate, I suppose it is due to the decimals in the price that makes the result vary.
Something to keep in mind is that the comparison should be made with a similar currency as much as possible. By this I mean that the project should be as similar as possible. We cannot compare HIVE for example with the DOGE, since the latter is a meme coin, which could well be compared with the KIBA or SHIBA INU.
Esta herramienta también posee otros datos que comunmente podemos ver en sitios como CoinGecko o CoinMarketCap, pero que vengan incluidos facilita las cosas.
Creo que si nos esforzamos por entender eso que nos apasiona llegaremos muy lejos. Hay muchas cosas por analizar y de las cuales aprender. Podremos ser nuestro propio guía o simplemente sumarnos a una aventura sin igual junto a los que más saben y que disfrutan compartir su conocimiento con el resto.
This tool also has other data that we can commonly see in sites like CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap, but that they are included makes things easier.
