A tool for analyzing blockchain activity | Blocktivity [ES/EN]
El esforzarse no se trata de una opción sino de una necesidad. Si queremos sobresalir en lo que nos apasiona debemos intentar aprender sobre ello.
Es por esa razón que me puse a investigar sobre las distintas herramientas que existen para analizar el ecosistema de una cadena de bloques o una criptomoneda particular.
Blocktivity es una herramienta que permite mostrar la actividad que tiene una moneda y así compararla con sus semejantes. Es posible filtrar distintas variantes como por ejemplo la cantidad de transacciones en 24 horas y las totales, la capitalización de mercado, el cambio de precio y algo muy interesante. El tiempo en que se tarda la creación de un nuevo bloque en una cadena de bloques siendo los más rápidos aquellos que van desde los 3 hasta los 0.5 seg.

It is for that reason that I started researching about the different tools that exist to analyze the ecosystem of a blockchain or a particular cryptocurrency.
Blocktivity is a tool that allows you to show the activity that a coin has and thus compare it with its peers. It is possible to filter different variants such as the number of transactions in 24 hours and totals, market capitalization, price change and something very interesting. The time it takes to create a new block in a block chain, the fastest ones being those ranging from 3 to 0.5 seconds.
También se nos muestra el protocolo que posee la moneda, aunque admito que es algo que aún debo estudiar. Sin embargo, allí está y sé que es de utilidad.
Si nos ponemos a ver los primeros 5 puestos de esta herramienta veremos información interesante. En este caso he activado todas las características que se nos puede ofrecer. Podemos ver a HIVE en el puesto 4 como una blockchain con presencia y potencial.
We are also shown the protocol that the coin has, although I admit that it is something I still need to study. However, it is there and I know it is useful.
If we look at the first 5 positions of this tool we will see interesting information. In this case I have activated all the features that can be offered to us. We can see HIVE in position 4 as a blockchain with presence and potential.
Algo que hay que tener en cuenta es que la actividad no solo se basa en transacciones desde un punto A hacia otro B.
Existen operaciones que tienen que ver con la aceptación de contratos inteligentes, votos de gobernanza, registros en la blockchain como cuando se hace una compra o venta de un token y también su creación. Todo ello constituye actividad.
One thing to keep in mind is that the activity is not only based on transactions from point A to point B.
There are transactions that have to do with the acceptance of smart contracts, governance votes, records in the blockchain such as when a purchase or sale of a token is made and also its creation. All of these constitute activity.
Por último y en conclusión. Disponemos de una herramienta útil que a todo cripto-entusiasta le debería llamar la atención para así analizar no solo su blockchain favorita sino también la relación entre el potencial de una contra la de otra.
Finally and in conclusion. We have a useful tool that every crypto-enthusiast should pay attention to in order to analyze not only their favorite blockchain but also the relationship between the potential of one against the other.
