background painting sketch

hello there everyone, hope we doing great
today ill be showing you guys a really quick background study i did of a tree, reference is from my head , i just wanted to use this as a warm up to start an animation project i was working on
here the process:
there's was a lot of straight ahead paint in this study cause i basically new what i was going for, so immediately i had creates the tree in the foreground

then i went to work on the far distanced trees and bushes

for the sky i wanted a little contrast in the whole scene , so in stead of making a loud sky with a lot of clouds in it, I just did simple blue sky with soft clouds

then i moved on to add other surrounding elements like rocks and tall grasses
