[Digital Art] The Promise
Hello everyone dear community, here I bring you another work, a simple illustration, but at the same time I wanted to do something different, as you can see my main forte are the designs of female characters, this time I wanted to make a male figure, somewhat youthful and with a futuristic essence. As the title of the work I decided to call it "The promise" with a penetrating and cold look, shows the importance and conviction of the word of a man, reaffirming it by making a gesture with a blow to the heart.
Next I show you the step by step of the development of the illustration.
Hola a todos querida comunidad, acá les traigo otra obra más, una ilustración sencilla, pero quise a la vez hacer algo diferente, como se darán cuenta mi principal fuerte son los diseños de personajes femeninos, esta vez quise realizar una figura masculina, un tanto juvenil y con una esencia futurista. Como título de la obra decidí llamarla "The promise" con una mirada penetrante y fria, demuestra la importancia y la convicción de la palabra de un hombre, reafirmandola haciendo un gesto con un golpe en el corazón.
A continuación les muestro el paso a paso del desarrollo de la ilustración.
Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️ 
This design was a male character, here I wanted to try with the lighting of the environment, to give it a futuristic style, I tried to use a background with a lot of lighting to create a stark contrast with the figure using the glows around to mark the outline of the face.
Este diseño fue un personaje masculino, acá quise probar con la iluminación del ambiente, al darle un estilo futurista, intenté usar un fondo con mucha iluminación para crear un marcado contraste con la figura usando los brillos de alrededor para marcar el contorno del rostro.
Explaining a little the drawing process, I started first with the sketch, trying to recreate the expression I wanted, a penetrating and fixed look that will catch the viewer, I drew him from the side placing a hand on his chest, that gives a touch of firmness to the work. Then I began to place the colors, usually I use low saturated tones and low brightness, but this time the tones were a little darker, to achieve the desired effect, little by little I added the shadows and lighting areas, the latter took more emphasis on the edges of the character and taking the tone of the background lights, I was blurring and mixing the colors a little until I got a smooth result.
Explicando un poco el proceso del dibujo, empece primero con el boceto, tratando de recrear la expresión que queria, una mirada que penetrante y fija que atrapará al espectador, lo dibuje de lado colocando una mano en su pecho, eso le da un toque de firmeza a la obra. Posteriormente empece a colocar los colores, por lo general uso tonos poco saturados y bajo de brillos, pero está vez los tonos fueron un poco más oscuros, para lograr el efecto deseado, poco a poco fui agregando las zonas de sombras e iluminación, estas últimas tome más énfasis en los bordes del personaje y tomando el tono de las luces del fondo, fui difuminando y mezclando un poco los colores hasta obtener resultado suave.

Later I was detailing a little the facial features, in this phase of the drawing, I made them first in another layer, this to help me a little when making corrections, once I like the result I join all the layers with the base color and with an airbrush begins to mix a little to better integrate the layers, when I have the facial features ready, I proceed to settle more shadows and highlights, as a last step added small flashes of light in eyes nose and mouth, also on the edge of the hair to integrate it with the background.
Posteriormente fui detallando un poco las facciones del rostro, en esta fase del dibujo, las realizó primeramente en otra capa, esto para ayudarme un poco a la hora de hacer correcciones, una vez que me gusta el resultado uno todas las capas con el color base y con un pincel aerógrafo empieza a mezclar un poco para integrar mejor las capas, cuando tengo las facciones del rostro lista, prosedo a asentuar más las sombras y los brillos, como último paso agregó pequeños destellos de luces en ojos nariz y boca, también en el borde del cabello para integrarlo con el fondo.
