Here I wanted to represent the work of "Princess Mononoke" with a more realistic touch, the main characters, the brave princess is shown as a young teenager, keeping her clothes, the typical hairstyle and marks on cheeks that characterizes her so much, for the wolf I did it in a more realistic way reducing considerably its size compared to the original design,

The drawing was composed of five main sections, body, clothing, hair, the wolf and the background, each of them consists of different layers, between textures and shades until reaching the desired result.

Acá quise representar la obra de “La princesa Mononoke” con un toque más realista, los protagonistas, la valiente princesa se muestra como una joven adolescente, manteniendo su vestimenta, el típico peinado y marcas en mejillas que tanto la caracteriza, para el lobo lo realice de un modo más realista reduciendo considerablemente su tamaño en comparación al diseño original,

El dibujo se compuso de cinco secciones principales, cuerpo, vestimenta, cabello, el lobo y el fondo, cada una de ellas consta de diferentes capas, entre texturas y matices hasta llegar al resultado deseado.

With quick and simple strokes we made the sketch of the princess, we placed the different accessories and clothes that she wears, we positioned the wolf at her side, then we chose the base colors to use.

Con trazos rápidos y sencillos realizamos el boceto de la princesa, colocamos los diferentes accesorios e indumentarias que ella lleva, posicionamos el lobo a su lado, posteriormente elegimos los colores bases a usar.

In this step I apply shadows and general shines to the drawing, on the skin and clothes, and I also shape the features of the face.

En este paso voy aplicando sombras y brillos generales al dibujo, en la piel y vestimenta, además se van dando forma a los rasgos del rostro.

Now in this step I start to further detail the features of the face, place the characteristic marks on her cheeks, and add some volume to her hair.

Ahora en este paso empiezo a detallar aún más los rasgos del rostro, coloco las marcas características en sus mejillas, y agrego algo de volumen a su cabello.

We accentuate shadows and lights of the clothing and fur, design the accessories that the princess wears and then with a bristle brush, we start to develop the wolf's fur.

Acentuamos sombras y luces de la vestimenta y piel, diseñamos los accesorios que lleva la princesa y seguidamente con pincel de cerdas, empezamos a desarrollar el pelaje del lobo.

We finish the work by designing a background, we place a degradation of colors, between green and orange, which will serve as a base to add the other elements that make up the work. In other layers we place different types of foliage and as we move away from the foreground we blur them to give a sense of depth. Finally we apply lighting effects, using different layers in blend mode to add and overexpose to illuminate certain parts of the character.

Culminamos la obra diseñando un fondo, colocamos una degradación de colores, entre verdes y naranja, los cuales nos servirán de base para agregar los demás elementos que compone la obra. En otras capas colocamos diferentes tipos de follaje y a medida que nos alejamos del primer plano voy desenfocando los mismos para dar una sensación de profundidad. Finalmente aplicamos efectos de luces, usando diferentes capas en modo mezcla añadir y sobre exposición para iluminar ciertas partes del personaje.
