En Venezuela como en muchos países, las fabulosas paticas de pollo son muy consumidas, de hecho cuando tenemos problemas de hemoglobina y sistema inmunológico débil, las abuelas sacan el as debajo de la manga... tatatan.... las gloriosas paticas de pollo que reviven a mas débil, gracias a su composición de nutrientes.

Por ejemplo en el caldo de patas de pollo hay suficiente colágeno (gelatina) que es perfecto para mejorar el funcionamiento del sistema digestivo, ayudando a que el intestino trabaje de manera correcta.

Receta de las patas guisadas.
2kg de patas
100 gr de ají dulce
100 gr de cebollin
70gr de cebolla
5 dientes de ajo
2 cds de aceite
onoto, sal y pimienta al gusto.

Preparación.

Lavar las patas, limpiarlas quitando pa punta de los dedos (las pesuñas) y la mitad del hueso largo (tarsometatarso) que queden así como se muestra en la imagen. Pelar los aliños (vegetales) y picar en cuadritos; en un sartén o bol sofreír los aliños en el aceite, luego agregar las patas y dejar cocinar hasta que estén blandas, colocar el onoto, la sal y pimienta al gusto. Las pueden acompañar con papas, plátanos, arroz o arepa como lo hice yo. Es libre de aderezar con otros ingredientes según sea su agrado, lo importante es consumirlas y aprovechar sus nutrientes. Si desean hacer una sopa, hacen este mismo procedimiento, le agregan verduras y agua suficiente para ablandar las verduras.
