GREETINGS FRIENDS OF THE WEDNESDAY WALK COMMUNITY

In Venezuela we are beginning winter, which runs from May to November, with humid temperatures between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius. Due to the high temperatures at this time, the heat has not affected everyone, not only in Venezuela, but in a large part of the world due to the effects of climate change, nothing is taken for granted.

En Venezuela estamos iniciando el invierno, que va de mayo a noviembre, con temperaturas húmedas entre 24 y 27 grados centígrados. Debido a las altas temperaturas en esta época, el calor no ha afectado a todos, no solo en Venezuela, sino en gran parte del mundo por los efectos del cambio climático, nada se da por sentado.

In the company of my husband, children and family, we decided to take a walk to the Amana river, to cool off a bit; fleeing from the high temperatures (40°C) that we have in our city. The road to the river is beautiful for all to see, side by side there are several farms with pastures and lots of cattle.

En compañía de mi esposo, hijos y familia, decidimos dar un paseo hasta el río Amana, para refrescarnos un poco; huyendo de las altas temperaturas (40°C) que tenemos en nuestra ciudad. El camino hacia el río es lindo a la vista de todos, de lado a lado hay varias fincas con pastizales y mucho ganado bovino.

The place is beautiful, the river is called Amana, and it is bordered by the Moriche palm, its dark reddish waters are due to the richness of its minerals and the roots of the Morichal trees that accompany it. Seems that there was gold in its waters.

El lugar es hermoso, el río se llama Amana, y está bordeado por la palma de Moriche, sus aguas de color rojizo oscuro se deben a la riqueza de sus minerales y a las raíces de los árboles de Morichal que lo acompañan. Parece que había oro en sus aguas.

Enjoying nature responsibly is a must; We had the opportunity to make a delicious soup in firewood (excuse the chef's photo) but we were in the river hahahahaha. After finishing we extinguished the remaining firewood and collected the waste.

Disfrutar de la naturaleza con responsabilidad es imprescindible; Tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer una rica sopa en leña (disculpen la foto del chef) pero estábamos en el río jajajajaja. Después de terminar apagamos la leña restante y recogimos los desechos.
