Catedral Metropolitana de Ciudad Bolivar. Phone Photography Contest - #85

I think that if I liked architecture, my goal would be to design churches, castles, and buildings like that, which are similar, large, and very beautiful.

Like the Metropolitan Cathedral in my city, it has an incredible facade. It is said that it was inaugurated on May 20, 1790, and is more than 200 years old.
Ever since I can remember, and long before that, those have always been its colors. In the morning, it looks more yellow, perhaps because of the sun.

As we went there at dusk, when the sun had already set, the color looks different, but with that white that highlights the straight and curved lines that form the arches.

If the façade, as you can see in one of the photos, is very tall, the tower next to it is even taller. It houses the bells, which ring at specific times according to the hour. Listening to them is a beautiful, magical sound.
The facade is 26 meters high and the tower is 44 meters high.

Next to the cathedral is Plaza Bolivar, but I actually prefer to go to the cathedral in the afternoons to admire it; I could never get tired of doing so.

The photos were taken with a Samsung Galaxy A16 cell phone, without editing, they are original. I don't really like editing and filters on photos, everything should be original, just as things are.
