21 de Marzo DIA MUNDIAL DEL SINDROME DE DOWN. Esp-Eng
Saludos a la presente comunidad y con todo el respeto me permito hacer esta publicacion desde aqui, pero antes de entrar de lleno, deberiamos saber que es un SINDROME.
SINDROME: son sintomas que tienen personas unos desde niños generalmente como otros aparecen luego, son condiciones que unos pueden ser hereditarios o por exceso o falta de algun gen de nuestro cuerpo. Sintomas que se caracterizan unos pasan de ser una enfermedad otros de ser una condicion.
Sindromes hay muchos pero son pocos los mas conocidos o de casos mas abundantes.
Hoy 21 de Marzo es el DIA MUNDIAL DEL SINDROME DE DOWN.
El Sindrome de Down es quizas uno de los mas conocidos en el mundo, se dan tanto en hembras como varones, es un sindrome que se da o se ve desde la gestacion, pero antes cuando no se tenia la tecnologia de ahora para los ecosonogramas, solo se sabia que un niño era Down, despues de nacer.
Ahora con los avances un niño desde el vientre se sabe si es Down cuando se hace un ecosongrama a la madre estos se puede detectar desde el tercer mes de gestacion.
Que asi como hay caracteristicas para determinar si es un niño sin condicion o normal, tambien las hay para determinar si es un niño con Sindrome de Down.
Pero asi como este Sindrome y otros como otros no son limitaciones para o ser una persona feliz, ya que no son enefermedades que se curen, son condiciones con las cuales viviran para siempre, pero se pueden tratar con personas especializadas para estos casos, medicinas, alimentacion, sobre todo contar con el apoyo de la familia.
Se crean instituciones que tambien apoyan tanto a la persona con el sindrome como a sus familiares.
Pueden llegar lejos, ser profesionales, deportistas, emprendedores, no saben de limites, no conocen de obstaculos, ellos saben es de amor y de poder hacer lo que mas desean, siempre se les ve con una amplia sonrisa.
Una de ellas la mas recientes es Sofía Jirau; la primera modelo con síndrome de Down que presenta Victoria’s Secret
Si Sofía Jirau una chica Down tiene 25 años, nativa de Puerto Rico, pero ella misma a dicho en todas las redes sociales, que desde emprendio en este mundo del modelaje, su mayor reto era formar parte de esta agencia de Victoria’s Secret, que lucho por estar ahi y su sueño se hizo realidad, no esta ahi por su Sindrome, no ella se gano ese lugar con esfuerzo.
Es un vivo ejemplo que de querer es poder.
En Asamblea General de la Organizacion de las Naciones Unidas, en diciembre de 2011, decreto y escogio como fecha 21 de marzo como DIA MUNDIAL DE SINDROME DE DOWN, para apoyar a las personas que lo tienen, crear conciencia de apoyo, rendirles un homenaje porque han demostrado ser personas exepcionales, que se han superado en muchos aspectos.
Hasta han llegado a formar sus propias familias.
Greetings to the present community and with all the respect I allow myself to make this publication from here, but before entering fully, we should know what is a SYNDROME.
SYNDROME: are symptoms that some people have since they were children generally as others appear later, are conditions that some can be hereditary or due to excess or lack of any gene in our body. Symptoms that are characterized some become a disease others a condition.
There are many syndromes but few are the most known or most abundant cases.
Today March 21st is the WORLD DAY OF DOWN SYNDROME.
Down Syndrome is perhaps one of the best known in the world, it occurs in both females and males, is a syndrome that occurs or is seen from gestation, but before when we did not have the technology of today for ultrasound scans, it was only known that a child was Down, after birth.
Now with the advances that have been made, it is possible to know if a child is Down syndrome from the womb when the mother undergoes a sonogram, which can be detected as early as the third month of gestation.
Just as there are characteristics to determine if it is a child without condition or normal, there are also characteristics to determine if it is a child with Down Syndrome.
But as well as this syndrome and others are not limitations to be a happy person, since they are not illnesses that can be cured, they are conditions with which they will live forever, but they can be treated with specialized people for these cases, medicines, food, especially with the support of the family.
Institutions are created that also support both the person with the syndrome and their families.
They can go far, be professionals, athletes, entrepreneurs, they do not know of limits, they do not know of obstacles, they know of love and of being able to do what they most desire, they are always seen with a wide smile.
One of them the most recent is Sofia Jirau; the first model with Down syndrome that Victoria's Secret presents.
Yes Sofia Jirau a Down girl is 25 years old, native of Puerto Rico, but she herself has said in all social networks, that since she started in this world of modeling, her biggest challenge was to be part of this Victoria's Secret agency, she fought to be there and her dream came true, she is not there because of her syndrome, no she earned that place with effort.
She is a living example that will is power.
The General Assembly of the United Nations Organization, in December 2011, decreed and chose March 21st as WORLD DAY OF DOWN SYNDROME, to support people who have it, create awareness of support, pay tribute to them because they have proven to be exceptional people, who have overcome in many aspects.
They have even formed their own families.

Tu post esta muy bien explicada, tengo una amiguita Down, hija de una amiga, como muchos emigraron, por lo que tengo tiempo que ya nos las veo, sin embargo, te puedo comentar que esta niña cuando tenía como 9 años, ya tiene 12, cuando estaba acá en Venezuela, bailaba bellamente flamenco y danza moderna, también tiene una gran destreza para el trabajo manual.
como bien señalas cada niño con un síndrome o condición puede ir desarrollando sus habilidades, destrezas y capacidades siempre y cuando tenga una familia que lo respalde, me alegro que tu cuentes con la tuya. Saludos cariñosos 😊
