A walk to the St. Marina Rock Monastery

Today, I’ll show you photos of the St. Marina Rock Monastery, which I visited while exploring Prohodna Cave.

The site is reached via a narrow—and in places, steep—path.

The Iskar River flows nearby, offering stunning views at various points along the way.

We saw blooming autumn cyclamens.

The final stretch of the path is the steepest, but wooden bridges, steps, and steel cables have been installed to assist the climb.

The church is small, featuring beautiful frescoes on its exterior facade. It was locked when we were there, so we couldn't go inside.

The walk was both pleasant and exciting.
