Homemade strawberry jam
It's strawberry season and I didn't miss making some jam for my family. Everyone adores it.
Here's how I did it:
I washed, cleaned and cut into pieces 4 kilograms of strawberries.
I put them in a large bowl and sprinkled them with 2 kilos of sugar. I let them sit for a few hours.
I put them on the stove to boil and skim off the foam that formed.
After a few hours of boiling the jam, I removed it from the heat (5 minutes before removing it from the heat, I added 2 teaspoons of lemon juice).
I poured it into small jars and sterilized them for 5 minutes.
