Beautiful sunset hike to Peak Lubash

Hi there Hive Family,

IMG_20211114_153320.jpg

All in all, this was planned to be a half and half hike. Meaning half daylight half moonlight adventure. I already have quite a few of those so it was not going to be a problem at all. I didn't want to miss another amazing sunset as the previous day the weather conditions were just flawless for late autumn.

This time a calculated ascend of 1 hour and 30 minutes to peak Lubash. We will arrive at approximately 17 o'clock to the top. The sunset is at around 17:07.

We left the car near the village of Lyalintsi and headed straight into the denivelation.

The route did not exist in our app. We use Windy Maps for extra security on the trail. Luckily, the itinerary was well marked with white-red flagging.

Not sure if everybody believes in the Chemtrail conspiracy theory but surely there is something to it. The whole time we were seeing those thick layers of white trails which do not dissolve. At the same time, we saw a lot of planes passing by with their engine outbursts much smaller than the others and dissolving immediately. It just doesn't make sense to me. There is too much pollution on this planet. That is for certain. How come in these times when businesses face bankrupcy and everything is suffering a crisis, we have so much planes flying and creating contamination?

Anyway, the beauty of this mountain is that it is a valley type. Meaning, almost no thick forests with no views. Open spaces and a lot of spectacular sights.

IMG_20211114_160611.jpg

That was the only forest we crossed. Not even a big one. In less than 10 minutes we were back in plain sight.

We are climbing. It is really not such a hassle. The panoramic views are all worth it.

If you look in the middle of this picture and focus you vision on a small object, you will see a white observatory. This sphere is emblematic and it it where Black Peak in Vitosha mountain is located. I love it.

Time is ticking away. Luckily, we are very close to the top. We won´t miss the sunset.

We are approaching the moment of truth.

The peak is just around the corner. Over there in the distance where the 3 pikes are.

Hurray! We have arrived! It is so cool! Yes, only 1399 meters high. Not much but definitely worth the climb. The views are breathtaking.

We descended back to the village in a quick manner and got home for dinner.
